Hey, any idea on what the current count of actors is per GB heap?
I know JVM does 2.5 mil IIRC. Is Akka.NET at ~1 mil? I just forget the current stat.
(wanted to throw an accurate-ish number into our intro presentation on Wednesday)

@Aaronontheweb @skotzko quick question on the WebCrawler demo. The TrackingService establishes an "ApiMaster" actor. Yet, the Web project deploys a router with the same actor selection reference "/user/api". So is the ApiMaster the routee? Or are they two separate things? Are there more than one instance of ApiMaster? I'm trying to piece together what's going on and it's not very clear here. It seems redundant to instantiate the TrackingService ApiMaster actor. Or maybe I'm totally off here.

@SeanKilleen last time I've heard, average actor was about 600-680B (compared to JVM 400)

@SeanKilleen One of the bootcamp article says it does 2.5 mil to 3 mil per GB
@Aaronontheweb Do you have an example of implementation of CRDT. I am yet to go through the paper you provided above but looks like it is more of academic paper

@schatekar about CRDTs, there is this talk and examples in Akka iself: eventuate-crdts and cluster distributed data

For anyone who has read the CRDT paper, this statement from "TRD translation algorithm" section --> Thus we distinguish cyan nodes, cyan tombstones, black nodes and black tombstones. A
node can be both a cyan node and a black tombstone; the converse is not possible.
doesn't that mean that you can have an atom in Nth epoch but the same atom is deleted in (N-1)the epoch
how is that possible?

@Horusiath is there a C# example? I have never done Scala in my life

@schatekar I've been working on a library of CRDTs written in F#, it's lacking tests at the minute but give me 30 minutes and I'll have something on GitHub

@schatekar https://github.com/bruinbrown/Eventual a library of CvRDTs in .Net, it's not production ready yet, it's missing quite a few tests. It's also not complete based on the data types implemented so far (not all sets are there, no maps yet, no graphs etc)
