@MoOx
I know what to do :)
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens

I don't have any problem with that on my side

Perhaps you don’t use getCurrentLocation

MoOx
@MoOx
indeed
I use router.location.pathname without any problem
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
that works. Thanks!
MoOx
@MoOx
react-router should brings the right version itself
so no need to specify it on your side
(r-r v3 use history v2 no?)
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
"react-router": "^3.2.1” and I got "history": "^3.3.0"
MoOx
@MoOx
right
you are right
I guess we don't have anything to do from our side, if people mess with history version I cannot help :D
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
If I remove history from package.json, it is not automatically found: Can't resolve ‘history'
MoOx
@MoOx
hum weird
like very weird, it's a dep or r-r, so must be there
what npm are you using?
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
6.5.0-next.0
MoOx
@MoOx
oh I see
Maybe that's the reason
I am using yarn
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
yarn gave me headaches, I am trying to avoid it
because it uses a different npm under the hood, you can get all kinds of weird problems
MoOx
@MoOx
never had problem with it while using it for months... years now?
npm SHOULD get history from r-r 3 tho
Anyway it's nice to have differents env

@MoOx
beta 9 is out @ArthurClemens

Is there a way to generate a unique filename for the bundled js file, e.g. using a content hash?
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
Webpack can create one, but I have to deal with the script tag in Html.js which inserts the hardcoded filename in every html file.
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
I’ve got it working with https://www.npmjs.com/package/shortid - by creating a unique ID and using it in Html.js and in webpack config.
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
Using this trick with css files is nastier, because the reference to the files are baked in the bundled js, so this creates a mismatch
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
Solved by creating a prebuild script that generates a js file that exports the unique id, and import that in various places
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
When buidling, I am getting a warning Invalid attribute name: ‘<br’. Is there a way to find out which content page (.md) this happens?
MoOx
@MoOx
Try DEBUG=phenomic:* phenomic build?
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
I think I need to do NODE_ENV=development DEBUG=phenomic:* npm run build
This gives me a ton of debug info
Somehow the build is also including all md files in the javascript file
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
The md in the js file happened because I had a markdown loader in the webpack config
So all is solved
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
Hello, I'm going through the tutorial and I'm in the 03.md section. I would like to know if there should to be some content in the blog/first-post/ page after adding the syntax from that section?
MoOx
@MoOx
in theory yes
as it's written at the bottom
is this the url you are accessing @Lidiayucon ?
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
yes, all i get is a blank page and no error warnings in the console
after including the syntax to the App.js
I got to localhost at the bottom of the section and it just shows a blank page
