Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
in the console it says that it is connected
this is what it has "[HMR] connected"
MoOx
@MoOx
are you sure the export default are correct?
It looks like no route are matched
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
export default createApp(() => (
<Router history={browserHistory}>
<Route path="/" component={Home} />
<Route path="/blog/*" component={BlogPostContainer} />
</Router>
));
if it was a route issue though, I should at least get an error from that though
MoOx
@MoOx
not really
Check that BlogPostContainer export is correct
image.png
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon

this is the BlogPostContainer syntax I have :

const BlogPostContainer = withPhenomicApi(BlogPost, props => ({
page: query({ path: "content/posts", id: props.params.splat })
}));

MoOx
@MoOx
you have to export the component
Oh I mean
sorry
it's in the same file
that's weird
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
I had these problems too with the blog posts path. I had to resort to adding globs to the package.json:
"content": {
  "": {
    "root": "content",
    "globs": ["**/*"]
  }
},
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
never mind I just included it in that site
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
I believe that a posts path as "content/posts” results in an escaped path to the JSON file (with % for the slash), but I didn’t have much time to look into it
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
that doesn't seem to fix it
thats a screenshot of the file order and the package.json with the content included
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
“content” should be part of “phenomic”
"phenomic": {
  "presets": [
    "@phenomic/preset-react-app"
  ],
  "content": {
    "": {
      "root": "content",
      "globs": ["**/*"]
    }
  },
  "port": 3000,
  "bundleName": "my-app"
}
MoOx
@MoOx
the example is working already for me
as it is
no need to tweak it
@Lidiayucon can you move the const Blog... definition before the export?
Have the export at the end
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
how is the order of the syntax suppose to look like? I moved it and the "go to home" link shows
but the rest of the content is not
there is an error this time though
withPhenomicApi.js:110 An item is in error state path=content%2Fposts&id=first-post
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
Is it okay if I make a suggestion?
For people just getting started with react and not having much experience in working with different framworks and libraries, it would be helpful to have a highlight of the syntax that is changing as well as an img of what the whole file should look like at the end of each section.
MoOx
@MoOx
I will keep that in mind next time I edit the doc
Thanks for the feedback
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
I would love to help put that together when I'm done with this tutorial if you like
MoOx
@MoOx
Sûre
Is this working for you now?
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
not really, the "go to home" link is, but the rest of the content isn't. I am getting an error this time
withPhenomicApi.js:110 An item is in error state path=content%2Fposts&id=first-post
thats the error in the console now
i'm looking into it atm ... I might have to come back for help if I can't fix it
Thank you btw
MoOx
@MoOx
I have to go too... feel free to open an issue so I can precisely track down the issue
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
will do ... thx again and have a good day
Arthur Clemens
@ArthurClemens
^ path=content%2Fposts that’s what I meant
Lidiayucon
@Lidiayucon
yeah, I noticed that but unfortunately that didn't work either. The only thing rendering now is the footer
