@ArmandH Thanks for trying it out. Yes I think all of those feature s are on the roadmap. I agree, there are quite a few basic features missing.
Generally I worked on the harder database, API and AI stuff first to prove it out and now we're trying to stabilise and fill in the UI gaps. I have a contractor (Gyan) who is helping now so things are really progressing now.
We have some settings and onboarding screens being finalised now that will let you turn off specific types of image analysis (like object detection which seems to be using 100% of your CPU). classification_object_processor, which does the object detection, does take a lot of compute but will eventually stop once it's been through all your photos. It shouldn't interfere with more important stuff happening on your machine as it is low priority but I'm sure we'll have to review that again soon.
All I got is this blank screen. Am I missing something?
I am having the same problem. I used the web interface for setting up "admin" account and set basePath to "/data/photos". When I use "docker-compose run photonix bash" and "ls /data/photos", I get all JPG files listed as root:root and readable. But nothing happens.... any ideas?
