    Aloha! What's the status of Scrybe? Is it still pursued or obsolete?
    (We're evaluating options for migrating PHPUnit's manual.)
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    Hello Sun, Scrybe will be integrated into phpDocumentor 3. Instead of supporting a second project we are focussing on providing a complete documentation solution with phpDocumentor 3 that will be able to cater to various needs
    In the current designs we intend to support PHP API References, Restructured Text Manuals and Markdown based manuals.
    phpDocumentor 3 will also feature native support for multiple versions and even having multiple guides if that is desired
    Whoops .. only now I see this is an old question :)

    But your answer can provide an answer to @sun

    @mvriel
    @Progi1984 did you invite me with a specific reason or just because you saw my name missing here? :)
    Progi1984
    @Progi1984
    @mvriel Just saw a question for you , that I have too :)
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    I see :) Did my answer answer your question as well?
    Progi1984
    @Progi1984
    Perfect :)
    And I like the idea of "native support for multiple versions"
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    Thank you! I am looking forward to phpDocumentor 3; it is going to be so awesome :)

    @Progi1984
    Which level of awesomeness ? :smile:
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    As far as I am concerned: the highest (when it comes to documentation at least ;) )
    Progi1984
    @Progi1984
    wow... very interesting :)
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    Currently there are 4, potentially 5, people highly motivated in making this work and I am working on a Design document to where we are going to refactor the existing application
    Due to the high impact of all the changes it will take some time but the goal is that in the end you don't even have to checkout your code but phpDocumentor will do the checkout and even upload it if you want it to
    Progi1984
    @Progi1984
    Wow... But is it the job to PHPDoc to download my code and upload the documentation ?
    Mike van Riel
    @mvriel
    It is needed for some of the features; versions are generally branches or tags within a git repository and manuals may be located in several repositories
    So phpDocumentor must be able to gather these things from various locations
    Progi1984
    @Progi1984
    Okay, good argument :) I haven't see this point of view
