hello all,
is possible with pixi to load an atlas containing not only the frame info but the animations too? i got this small toy project but i'm missing the hability to "play" a named animation:

the only way is to construct an array of textures from it
loader.resources['myatlas'].textures is an object, but you need array
and pass that array to PIXI.extras.MovieClip
oh, you're doing exactly that
You can make your own json format for animations and load it :)
unfortunately, the only demo is BIG, its pixi-spine and its importing animations from EsotericSoftware's spine :)
but basically, you can look at "src/loaders/spritesheet.js" and make your own json parser that checks things, then add it to loader
there's nothing like that in public API, you have to look in pixi github sources
