@themoonrat sorry, I meant to say that that's the code that registers my update function. The update function is the arrow function inside.
As you can see, it calls the update method on all of my particle objects
Each particle then calculates its own next position and sets it (the particles extend PIXI.Sprite) so it's ready for rendering
