    @lautarodragan
    it's pretty simple
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    I would appreciate that.
    @lautarodragan thanks.
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    no worries. let's start here: do you know how to get an ethereum account, or already have one?
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    I have one, as well as metamask
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    awesome
    then all you need to do is do the Proof of POE
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    ok
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    for security reasons you may want to create a new ethereum address specifically for this
    but that's not a requirement
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    ok, I will do that.
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    ok
    then, in explorer.poetnetwork.net, you'll need to log in and go to your settings
    click on Connect With MyEtherWallet and copy the message (you can just click on the big COPY button at the right of it)
    on a separate tab/window, navigate to https://www.myetherwallet.com/access-my-wallet, choose MetaMask (or whatever method you wish to use)...
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    I did these things. Continue please
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    sure
    now just go to the Sign Message screen in MEW
    and paste the message you copied for Explorer earlier
    and go ahead and sign it
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    I missed a step.
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    you should get something like this in return
    {
      "address": "your address here",
      "msg": "Proof of POE ...",
      "sig": "0x a very long hex",
      "version": "3",
      "signer": "MEW"
    }
    hmm
    what step?
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    I never got any characters in the message bar on the POET set up page. So I ahve nothing to copy and paste in the MEW sign
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    image.png
    you should see something like this
    it may take a couple of seconds for the message to load
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    Nope I nevr got any characters, as a matter of record, as soon as i clicked connect with myetherwallet "invalid token" message in red comes up. I don't know what that is...
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    oh, that means the session expired
    you need to log out and back in
    that UX is pending some improvement
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    got it.
    ON the MEW page what exactly am I doing.? Sorry for the piece work, I am doing my best.
    I figured it out.
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    Verified baby. Thanks, Lautaro!
    Wallet is linked , but my POE balance is zero.
    I will keep you updated.
    Lautaro Dragan
    @lautarodragan
    Awesome! Great news
    kushmandu
    @kushmandu
    Yeah. I am on the exchange now waiting for the ETH to hit so I can cop some POE yo!

    Hi, I'm testing poet and I have one question. I have my API key and my wallet connected. First I made a claim with some text. When I use API with my token and work/workId I get my post but there isn't the content text. Why ?

    Documentation say :
    {
    "name": "string",
    "datePublished": "2019-08-25T20:21:55.899Z",
    "dateCreated": "2019-08-25T20:21:55.899Z",
    "author": "string",
    "tags": "string",
    "content": "string"
    }

    I get :
    {
    "about": [
    "https://ipfs.poetnetwork.net/ipfs/..."
    ],
    "hash": "string",
    "name": "string",
    "datePublished": "date",
    "dateCreated": "date,
    "author": "string"
    }

    @lautarodragan
    Hey Mat, the content is uploaded separately to IPFS now. What you see in the about is a link to the file with the contents
    The “content” property is basically a facilitator for uploading a file, kind of a demo thing to simplify integrations and to offer hosting for small files
    You could also upload the contents to IPFS manually from your side and create the about section. This is what Explorer does in the case of file uploads
    Either way is perfectly fine

    @MatMatDev

    Thank you. I'm using Php with Frost API for PHP. It seem to be old but now I understand.

    It is interessant. Like this ?

    $work = $this->poet->createWork([
         'name' => $name,
          'datePublished' => $datePublished,
          'dateCreated' => $dateCreated,
           'author' => $author,
           'tags' => $tags,
            'content' => $content //Text, old way or ...
                'about' => [$url] //$url contain a link to my file on ipfs, new way
    ])

    "about" is an array (in PHP). What's happen if I give two or more url ? like 'about' => [$url1, $url2]

    Thank you and sorry for my little english.

    @lautarodragan
    Hey @MatMatDev no worries. The PHP library may be outdated indeed. Your example looks perfectly fine :)
    And yes, you could provide many URLs. Nothing really happens in Frost and the Poet Node as they don't really do anything with them, but in an upcoming feature for Explorer the work screen will be changed and a graph will be rendered instead. In that case you'll be able to see how the claim links to the two files.
