Thanks @retgits Our hope is to get this out as a solution not only for ourselves, but also get the dev communities in the US education space excited about it. Flogo-web lowers the barrier to entry considerably.

Yeah I agree! I personally like writing Go myself, but I can totally see how the Web IDE helps lower the barrier. We’ve added some tutorials to our docs site (which you might have already seen), that might help with getting started. If we can help, just let us know.

we dont have an invoke ws activity, you could always use the rest invoke and just set headers, etc? not ideal...

Hello! Is it possible that flogogen (the version that came with flogo 0.9.0) actually creates an obsolete Trigger structure?

Sorry, to be clearer, i've seen that while flogo (executable file) is only two days old (last time i've done a go get -u github.com/project-flogo/cli/...) flogogen executable is many months older. Is there a flogogen delivered with project-flogo?

@skothari-tibco Thank you! We are moving from some test we did in March, using Flogo 0.5.8, now we are back to write some custom Actions and Triggers and have found a quite different structure with 0.9.0.

Yes, It’s different from 0.5. But we get better performance from 0.5 which is always great 😄

Hello @skothari-tibco , and thank you for your support. With the new mqtt-trigger/mttq-activity we have solved our bottleneck with Rabbit, where the old mqtt-activity were opening/closing an MQTT client for every call. Just to better understand how the new activity works, i've seen in the source code that there's not a "close" on the client. How the opening/closing is managed?

Hello @skothari-tibco , we are experiencing some difficult with the mqtt-activity. We have mapped in the settings the topic like this "/foo/:a" and in map inputs, topicParams is
{ "a": "{{$activity[myactivity].mytopic}}"}
mytopic is an output string from a our custom activity. Now we are receiving the mqtt message but the topic on we receive it is: "/foo/{{$activity[myactivity].mytopic}}". We were expecting that we'll receive the mqtt on "/foo/mytopic". What are we wrong?

Dear @skothari-tibco , just a little help more. How can I get the param 0 of the topic? I've configured my trigger to receive on /foo/# but I can't access to the # with $flow.topicParams["0"] or $flow.topicParams[0]. I've tried configuring the trigger with the topic /foo/#param1 but it crash..

and.. every message received on the trigger with the wildcard # crash the script with the message "Error handling message: %vruntime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference"

You want to convert it in your go code not in flow?

Use coerce.ToObject() under package github.com/project-flogo/core/data/coerce for your go code
