@Ganitagya You have to wrapper the code to use is as a function or an activity, I've had to do the same myself, it's only a few lines but the wrapper tells flogo the interface and the usage.

@Ganitagya BTW, this feature supported by flogo enterprise :)

Hi Flogoistas, I'm working on an IoT project - it's a wrist watch. I'm using an ESP32. I need to send short messages from the device to a Web server. Users will have an IoS or Android device with Internet connectivity. I am thinking of using BLE to keep power requirements low. Flogo would be a great transport. Is there a project to develop Flogo for ESP32?

Hi All,
I've create d custom function in GO, and followed all steps, tested with (_test) file, all seems good.
Zipped it, and added to the Extensions and seems loaded nicely.

Then in Flogo flow, i've create simple LOG with the New Function which appears in the function list.
All good up to here, when i run the TEST in flogo i get the following:
error --> "Gathering contribution data failed"

@lixingwang
@ihabbishara The go.mod name must be the function category name. I had shared one with you please have a look

Can anyone provide guidance on best practices, security and quality scanning tooling such as SonarQube ?

Hi 😁 what kind of data structure is expected by the "Run Stream" CSV Upload for e.g. the simple filter streams example? Thanks
Matt Ellis
@mellistibco
A csv file :smile: the header row maps to the field names when mapping
AndreasHeissenberger
@AHeissenberger_twitter
The stream interface has on field. Name: "input" Type: "integer" my CSV has one column with header "input" and one number per line (UTF-8, NL) and I get this error msg in the log:

@fcastill do you happen to know off the top of your head? I’m not at a computer atm otherwise would check

@mellistibco thanks for your quick reply - I got it working - the solution is to switch the stream interface into type object - this is what the Web UI "Run Stream" creates from a CSV

hi i have a question, to implement a flogo trigger I can use the flogogen tool(which is mentioned in the docs) which is the old 0.5.6 version. where currently the Flogo on project-flogo github is using 0.9 version! which one should I use? and the new version 0.9 doesn't support the triggers creation
i compared the triggers from project-flogo github and TIBCO flogo github they are different their code structure is very different, the TIBCO uses flogo-lib where the project-flogo uses core, I am just curious which one should I use and if I should use the 0.9 one then how can I use that for the triggers
Matt Ellis
@mellistibco
@afarooqi8 you should be using everything inside the project-flogo org
skothari12
@skothari12
https://github.com/project-flogo/cli-plugins/tree/master/devtool . This gen tool should create trigger compatible with 0.9 + .
Asadullah Farooqi
@afarooqi8
thanks guys

Asadullah Farooqi
@afarooqi8
can you guys give me a hint how will this process take place?
I can't think of extration of vars from json events
Tracy Li
@lixingwang
Yes @afarooqi8 You can pass as data type any to handler and to flow input.
then it's your/user logic to handle any type data in flow.
Asadullah Farooqi
@afarooqi8
okay thanks :) i'll try to do that by looking at other triggers
