i played with some roundtripping of the weights and it works fine. We might have to make a small tweak to the function to make sure indices get aligned, but wanted to see if others thought it was worth considering first
@knaaptime Interesting. Can you add something about this to the weights refactor issue to keep it a record of it?
I think there’s some dtype limitation with npz. I remember I had to do some casting as part of io

No, it was some minor thing. And I don’t see it in my code anymore so it might have been something I actually resolved.
