    Hey!
    Formartha
    @Formartha
    happy to try to take something and help out
    so, i didn't see any options on how to run ward without installing it.
    do you have an example that I can use?
    Darren Burns
    @_darrenburns_twitter
    You'll have to install it for development using flit install -s
    Or if you mean install it into a sample project you could do pip install path/to/ward[dev]
    Formartha
    @Formartha
    okay, let me give it a shot
    can it be used with the same virtual environment
    or there might be conflicts there?
    e.g. same venv for both development and package consuming
    Darren Burns
    @_darrenburns_twitter
    That should be fine

    Is there a way to use poetry ? When I try poetry install - I get [tool.poetry] section not found in pyproject.toml
    I can't use poetry init caue pyproject.toml already exists
    I just want to use a venv to install flit/ward etc.

    @mandarvaze
    I ended up using python -m venv .venv && source .venv/bin/activate && pip install flit && flit install -s

    @_darrenburns_twitter is make prep still used ? I see several "imported but unused" warnings. Also some "... is too complex.." warnings
    These are from the existing code.

    Ward doesn't use Poetry it uses Flit. I plan to change over to Poetry in the future though as I've found flit to be a little cumbersome. Glad you got it working though 🙂 I personally don't make much use of the Makefile at the moment and may rework it in the future.

    Is it legit to use tags to order softwaretests or does ward features another way of doing so that I should use?
