Mike51 on Freenode I was wondering if someone could help me. I was making a map for my sampling sites and was wondering how I give credit for any layers I used. I used the base world map and the open street map
duiv on Freenode Mike51: for OSM see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Legal_FAQ about the txt to use. Base world map I do not know

Mike51 on Freenode Thank you for this information, I think I did it right. I ended up with this © OpenStreetMap contributors (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright) @ OpenWorldMap Contributors
Mike51 on Freenode I am just trying to do anything right and qgis is a little different from arcgis which I am more used to

ghostbuster on Freenode has anyone tried to follow the instructions to import a mapbox layer into qgis? https://docs.mapbox.com/help/tutorials/mapbox-arcgis-qgis/
sigq on Freenode Title: Add Mapbox maps as layers in ArcGIS and QGIS with WMTS | Help | Mapbox (at docs.mapbox.com)
ghostbuster on Freenode my api key shows that 600+ tiles have been downloaded but I don't see them appearing in qgis
ghostbuster on Freenode in layer information, under Data Type it says: Could not determine raster data type.
ghostbuster on Freenode i wonder if this is why they don't display?

rduivenvoorde[m] on Freenode which crs are you using? 3857? then I would also load an osm map, just to see if you are in the valid area...
matrixbot
@matrixbot
ghostbuster on Freenode i believe so
ghostbuster on Freenode i am logged into their web app and i think i've got matrix/row/col numbers that correspond to a valid area
ghostbuster on Freenode I'm hitting the REST interface with curl and it's returning 512x512 png files but they are all black, 139 bytes only
ghostbuster on Freenode qgis doesn't show any tiles in cache

rduivenvoorde[m] on Freenode qgis 3.14? hit F12 and check de urls in de networklogger
matrixbot
@matrixbot
ghostbuster on Freenode oh cool
ghostbuster on Freenode hmm yeah qgis is getting the same thing as my manual curl requests, so unless we're both using the API incorrectly then something is wrong with the mapbox account config

ghostbuster on Freenode i just picked mapbox because they have good high res satellite data, but i wonder if there are other sources that are free for personal use

QueueBall on Freenode Using QGIS 3.14 (just updated) and when I go to load old saved projects,nothing shows up in the Layout Manager (and I had a couple of layouts in the projects I'm testing).
QueueBall on Freenode Using Win 10.
QueueBall on Freenode And I think I just figured it out ... I didn't have a layout on this particular file (very similarly named to the one that did have a layout) ... just me being goofy ... sorry.

TomDesMoines Hi Folks, I was following the linux install commands for qgis https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/alldownloads.html#debian-ubuntu. I ran into a problem: when entering this command: sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 51F523511C7028C3 ....

I received this error:

Executing: /tmp/apt-key-gpghome.QI2VCFfKej/gpg.1.sh --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 51F523511C7028C3
gpg: keyserver receive failed: Server indicated a failure
