Hi there, thanks for your message! I would like to merge every entry that is specifically aimed at elementary / or fits in almost perfectly (like indicators), but I am not sure about the others yet. I have thought about opening the database to apps for all kinds of distros (most importantly: Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian) but that will require a completely new backend as I want to make sure people only see the kind of apps they have use for (so no ugly QML apps for elementary people, etc).
@PerfectCarl That's a great idea, especially ideas where some people made mockups / detailed plans (like bassultra / Harvey on deviantart) that could be great inspiration for developers to try to build something
And one day (in the far-off future I'm afraid) when elementary apps runs on it's own Gollum Wiki instance I hope to have the whole site localized in multiple languages
@PerfectCarl I have merged the stuff from your branch into main / gh-pages :)
Thanks, I'll add more (with mockups) in the coming days.
I want to release an sizable update of elementary-tweaks but I look for testers. Would you be interested ?
Oh you work on Tweaks as well? Didn't know that... Yes, even though I only have elementary in VirtualBox atm so it's not really a delightful experience to test anything really. But would be glad to help out nontheless :)
Okay, sweet. I'll update the docs and let you know :)
You might have to open a new branch if you do any changes because I added stuff and also merged some commits (which is a PITA to do sadly)
Noted. I'll try to find time tomorrow!
Hi all. Which simple audio recorder would you recommend that nicely integrates into eOS?
@orschiro I may be making a nice audio editor in the near future (following elementary's HIG to some degree), but it won't be as simple as an audio recorder can be
