@evs-chris FYI, the command npm run components fails on windows cygwin. Doesn't like the "while" in there. I think I can work around it with a node script that uses the "component.js" script direcly.

fwiw, if you're on Win10, you could try the built-in Bash. I set it up last night, few hiccups, but all good.

I use MinGW on Windows all the time (it comes with git)

yeah but VMs can be a real PITA so I only use them when necessary

yeah, I still reach for git bash by default when I need a real shell in a win environment
it's more consistently available, since not everyone has wsl
