Are we dropping foldl/foldL, or just reintroducing an alias? I did find the parable quite convincing when I read it, but I've been thinking a lot about how we can best work with tools like Highland, Bacon, and the various immutable data libraries, and having useful aliases might be the best way, even allowing users to tell Ramda about additional aliases as necessary.

@jethrolarson: I'm mixed about fn.displayName. Although there are definitely times it would be useful, I'm afraid it would add a lot of noise to the source code. And that disturbs me.

True enough. I do get tired of seeing just 50 anonymous functions in the stack trace. One of the big disadvantages of this style of programming right now is debugging transformed functions and if we can make that easier that would be grand. Could a transpiler add it as a build step?
