[ [ 1 ], [ 2 ], [ 3 ] ]
> R.flatten(R.map(R.of, [1,2,3]))
[ 1, 2, 3 ]
> R.chain(R.of, [1,2,3])
[ 1, 2, 3 ]
of course flatten squashes all layers, but in this example it works

There's also R.unnest, if you want just one level of flattening.
