curious thing: redux includes a variadic compose implementation, but it has a base case for no arguments: https://github.com/reactjs/redux/blob/master/src/compose.js#L14
that is, their compose() returns x => x instead of an error
is there any good reason for doing them choosing that over an error?

@dtipson perhaps if it’s being used internally w/ apply?
or …args

yeah. Weird usage if so, but I could see something dynamically adding things to a composition chain I guess

It makes sense to me, @dtipson, for the same reason that sum([]) == 0 and product([]) == 1.
