    loading raml file from jar itself works, but not loading any of the includes which are in same jar file as raml file
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    interesting - thank @sslavic, please give me some time to talk to some people ;)

    @sichvoge
    in favour for RAM 1.0 - some changes will be made to the parser anyways

    has the issue with including external schemas been resolved? im running into this same issue in 0.8.11

    @srinivasthalapalli
    You mean http://forums.raml.org/t/raml-java-parser/1011 ?. I dont think it id resolved.
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    hi @srinivasthalapalli & @nessalauren5 some guys from the community are currently working on an improved version of the current parser in general in conjunction with RAML 1.0. so that will be resolved by then.
    to make sure that everyone has visibility though, could you pls create an issue on the github account with all necessary information to reproduce that on the new parser
    stallapp
    @srinivasthalapalli
    Great!.
    I have already created an issue, raml-org/raml-java-parser#78
    Thanks for response!

    hi guys! I'm trying to migrate from previous version of raml 1.0 parser (https://github.com/raml-org/raml-java-parser-2) to current one and I faced an issue that I can't use custom types. Previous version supported this functionality with jaxb binding but I have no idea how to use my custom types in the new parser.
    Is it possible? If yes, could you give me an advice? Thank you!
    svacas
    @svacas
    It's not possible at the moment, the old parser used some non spec compliant custom tags to achieve that, we may re-implment it using annotations but it is not there yet
    aolenev
    @aolenev
    thank you for response! I'm using it for custom parametrized annotations, so it would be great if you put this functionality on the roadmap

    Hi guys, I have one question for you. Does RAML10Parser support relative path resolving for json-schema? For example
    {
      "description": "List of MyItems",
      "type": "array",
      "required": [
        "items"
      ],
      "items": {
        "$ref" : "./myItem.json"
      }
    }
    As I understood correctly - now it is not working. Just with explicit protocol, like next
    {
      "description": "List of MyItems",
      "type": "array",
      "required": [
        "items"
      ],
      "items": {
        "$ref" : "resource:/schemas/myItem.json"
      }
    }
    Guys?
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    Hi. Did you try to ask on the Github repo for the Java parser? The devs might see it there earlier ;)

    Quick question... I am working on a Maven plugin to parse a RAML file and stub out Vert.x Java. Currently, when I parse my RAML file I get a RamlModelResult which has hasErrors==true, but I see no way to get more details. Is there a way to get detailed errors from the parser?
    NVM, I just found it!
    RamlModelResults.getValidationResults()

    Perfect!

    Hi, is it possible to use raml-parser-2 to manually build the raml object tree and transform it into a raml file?
    I have a raml generator which uses Raml raml = new Raml(); to start the tree but i can't find a way to do this using raml-parser-2.
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    i think there isn't an emitter inside the parser
    but i think there might be some coming with raml-for-jaxrs
    let me ask
    Johannes Schüth
    @Jotschi
    Ok. I assumed that this would not be possible. I'll just stick to 0.8 . Thanks
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    I will get back to you when I have news about the emitter

    hello everybody
    is there anyone here?
    I'm just wondering if this community has any plan going forward with the dependency on the fge json schema validator, which looks like a pretty dead project at the moment
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    maybe create a ticket on the github repo, might make a lot sense since the devs are usually on there

    Does de java parser supports adding custom validations¿

    Hi, is there any library with which I could parse edit and save changes to raml file ?
    or even better, any tools that convert 0.8 version to 1.0 ? (with json schemas v4)
    Christian Vogel
    @sichvoge
    We are working on a JavaScript version to migrate 0.8 to 1.0! It's not yet finished though

    guys , i am trying to build this master branch code using maven (mvn clean package -X -P jar-with-dependencies) but it's failing with errors in Tests..
    Any of you seeing this error and know what needs to be fixed?
