@aaronjudd , reactioncommerce/reaction@d168d21, this seems to be breaking new checkouts, I checked out new development branch and bin/run. Got this:
Error: Did not check() all arguments during publisher 'Sessions'

@aaronjudd So should I work on it or should I take up #213 - with newsletter signup option in footer also. I will be building upon this package. The backend will first show the configuration info and after that the admin will see all the people who signedup.
The package I was referring to is this: https://github.com/MiroHibler/meteor-mailchimp.

@lovetostrike sorry, I wasn’t able to replicate. first, I'd verify that you have pulled all the development packages - if you still have the issue, create a gh issue with steps to replicate… (have you included your social packages? etc, so I can test)

@Gouthamve I used that mailchimp package in the reactioncommerce.com site's subscribe. It should be easy to work with, and reuse

In general -> re: the content areas -> I think it's an issue that probably will require a few more things to be settled down (with packages) before we can do something elegant.. so an intermediate solution is ok, but would probably change soon
also so that you get an idea on planning: I do use the waffleboard https://waffle.io/reactioncommerce/reaction

I do check the waffleboard. But I just want get used to meteor(I am a beginner) and want to know how to develop a package for reaction. So I am looking at small issues but after I gain some experience, I will surely start working on big solutions.
And if you think there are other issues that are more pressing, I will start working on them.

cool, that’s great. I really appreciate the contributions..
my thinking on waffleboard is anything with ready or help-wanted are issues that I think are ready (and needed) to be worked on (by anybody) before the backlog items. when I mark help-wanted I'm really saying - no in-depth project knowledge needed and help would be really appreciated - so anybody can take this one and run with it. I’m open to any suggestions though to help clarify the roadmaps, or details on the issues. when you’re as close to it as I am, it’s easy to forget to jot all the details down

Also what do you think will be the min requirements to a run reaction shop
Will a 1GB instance on DO give decent results

that's all going depend on xxxx, so that's a long discussion. I've started a new doc https://github.com/reactioncommerce/reaction-core/blob/development/docs/deploying.md - if you want to create a ticket with some specifics questions on deployment.. I'll try to doc everything as a response. generally speaking though - yes - I think the 1GB DO will give decent results.
in generally there's a few more items left in the checkout and order workflow before I'm going to bless an actual shop running though. I think that "blessing" will be around 0.6 or 0.7, with a timeframe around 3-6 weeks.
( ie: "getting close")

addressing performance issues will come after those releases... there's quite a few that I'm aware of, but despite that, generally the shops should perform well enough

Nice. I need to build a store for someone who sells jewellry by August. I was hoping to run it on a 1GB instance. Lets see how the performance is. And I hope there will be some templates by August, I am not really into frontend.

well, we can run around 700 shops on an EC2 “r3.2xlarge” with docker. of course they have no real load.. but hey, that’s pretty good

re: templates I'm willing to pay for some really good, but generic templates - I was thinking of reaching out to some of the shops that do just templates for other platforms and having a them make a bunch... I'm all ears if anyone has suggestions
I'd think we'd want to do that right after we get the cms/content solution squared away

Hi, so I am developing the mailchimp package. But due to some bug introduced by my package, reaction stopped working.
All I can see now is just a white screen
Is there any standard debugging protocol for this?

Hi Aaron, is there any possibility to go back in cart workflow from shipmentMethod to fetchShipmentMethods? if I try CartWorkflow.fetchshipmentMethods(); I get undefined is not a function but I'm not sure how I should call the fetchshipmentMethods function.
Just to be clear I am trying to go back on the checkout page from Step 4 Review to Step 3 Select shipping option meaning the review should be disabled again
