at the end of the day, i think it’s all the bootstrap names pointing toward material assets, works pretty well

I started looking at doing a Foundation based theme and have backed temporarily a little after realizing how connected everything was to bootstrap

just for fun, let me see what happens if i meteor add it, since there’s also a meteor package ;)
yea… just kinda breaks some things like the dropdowns

it’s not bad though….
more likely the problem is in the dropdown code

may be the way of the future! unless they break it like the jump from Angular 1.3 to 2.0
i went to the CDN to see if i could just add the theme… but it’s way too many files...
but yea, @lovetostrike , if you wanted to do material, you would have had to basically do what that dev did, style everything out and hook into the bootstrap component names

np, it's just that social settings also use afObjectField and they aren't working in linux ff

@spencern I’d love some good ideas on the seperation so that we could use foundation, but I couldn’t see a good way other than having to build a map to bootstrap as well - or build/adopt a more generic framework.. all of which seemed to be diminishing returns
@lovetostrike I was thinking we might want to break it out into multiple forms, at least with facebook so we can move the appsecret to the private settings - generally I don’t think I’ve used adObjectField very much.
(although it does work nicely in the settings - it’s really the perfect use)
honestly I’d like to have one generic “settings form” that every package could use.. and not have it be so “form”y - but thats a wishlist or a distracted day

@aaronjudd yes, I agree that we might need multiple forms for public and secret.. will look into it too

Are you getting any error or is it just not working?

I am still working with the accounts, and I saw an issue when you try to purchase something as an admin, since all accounts have been published for the admin the Accounts.findOne() used for the address insert, update will not use the correct account document, it also happens that the entries get duplicated

Anyone running reaction dev as a docker image with boot2docker? (OSX)
I'm having trouble getting mongo to start after building from scratch and pretty new to docker
Spencer Norman
@spencern

Specifically this error:
bash-3.2$ docker run -it --rm -p :49000:8080 --name reaction reaction/reaction-test
Starting local MongoDB...
/usr/bin/entrypoint.sh: line 31: /usr/local/bin/mongod: No such file or directory
I've tried starting mongo as a separate container as well, and I can get it to run, but when I try to pass it's connection string to the reaction container, I get the same error
Spencer Norman
@spencern

got it working - not entirely sure what I was doing differently, but this worked for me:

bash-3.2$ docker run --rm -it -p :8080 --name reactioncommerce -e MONGO_URL="mongodb://192.168.59.103:27017/meteor" \
-t reaction/reaction-test

running mongo as a separate container

Question on top of this, what's the best way to package a local build (customized/forked reaction packages) and deploy it to docker?
Aaron Judd
@aaronjudd
Mar 25 2015 23:42
@spencern that’s the version of mongo
use FROM mongo:2.6.8
I just updated the development dockerfile

re: deployment: most of the time I build an image locally to test, but I don’t push from there -> I use the build tools on the dockerhub account. you can do private repos as well that way, but you should always be able to do “docker build -t org/name . “ then "docker push”. What platform/etc are you deploying to?
@boboci9 I don’t see the duplicated addresses, but I do see that it’s creating a new “account” rather than using the existing admin account that was created when the user was created, so there is an error merging authenticated accounts there. Creating an issue or a PR would be appreciated

@spencern maybe check out https://www.tutum.co/ if you aren’t settled on GAE, AWS, etc
