Hi all -- just want to say off the bat that I'm absolutely loving this progress!
Quick question (I hope) - I'm trying to deploy to a QA server using mup, and I'm getting the following error: Reaction Configuration: Add a domain entry to shops for: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx I think I'm missing where this would go
is it supposed to be set in settings/dev.settings.json ?

it should get past that ok - once the intial fixture data load it will have the domain entry. setting ROOT_URL in your env variables may help, otherwise the first shop gets assigned to localhost once the fixture data is loaded
the settings.json is really only needed as a local dev convenience - for deployment the best thing is to set everything with ENV variables (that and meteor.com deploys don’t support env vars right now, so we still need the ability to preset the shop admin user/pass with that for meteor deploy)

I see, okay thanks aaron. I think that I just need to parse my MUP error log a little more

I am noticing some timing issues on the load of fixtures in our docker testing as well - that I’m not seeing local - I’m actually going to look into that today, so might be able to take care of soon (but shouldn’t be a blocker)

Oh nice! I'll keep an eye out. I may also take the opportunity to learn docker as well

docker-machine is pretty awesome.. well worth the time it takes to figure stuff out. I think the docker docs can be a little obtuse though. but there are a number of dev products to make deployment pretty easy (tutum.co, crate.io, rancher.com, etc)..
or you can just wait, we’ll be publishing something on this topic sooooon…..

yes!
I'll probably go that route eventually, but I need something up this weekend. I think i'll just ssh and run it from the server directly for the timebeing
