Hi, is there a way to disable email contents showing up in console, I am trying to debug something after a meteor reset and my console is full with css from the email sent to the admin

Has anybody see these messages before after restart, at initialization:
Error while importing to Products: Mod on _id not allowed
Error while importing to Tags: Mod on _id not allowed
Error while importing to Shops: Mod on _id not allowed
For some reason when I try to run reaction on the server it has issues with the sample data _ids but I don't know why

@boboci9 re:email -> yes -> you can setup email and it will just send instead of spitting out the html. I need to look at it again though, because I had it disabled if you were using localhost or had no email settings. (this is meteor's default behaviour when email isnt configured.) - agree that it's annoying while testing ;-)

I've not seen those import errors though.. and the sample-data has id being set.. (and that doesn't normally throw an error)

this is very wierd for me too, as it's working locally
any hints on what can I try?

is it just normal sample-data - nothing special?
Bogi
@boboci9
Dec 22 2015 14:31
yes, just the regular sample data
shop, products and tags, but I mostly need the shop to be added, the rest wouldn't be a dealbreaker

is there existing data on the deployment? (remote db that's already populated for instance?)
just trying to figure out what I can do to replicate...
Bogi
@boboci9
Dec 22 2015 14:32
no, I made a db reset before trying the new version

(btw on email, we just setup a mailgun sandbox and use that, it's free, takes 3 minutes - and you can throw the settings in your MAIL_URL env var)

ok, I’ll try to see if I can replicate. (it’s strange though, the tests on CircleCI run through this on linux, and seems to be fine there)

@boboci9 The mongodb bulk api was added in 2.6. So to use ReactionImport and the sample data package you should update your mongodb install.
We should perhaps add a note in the docs?
I'm guessing you're using the ubuntu 14.04 bundled package?

@tdecaluwe maybe we can catch that error or check DB version and throw something helpful?
