Hey @aaronjudd, I'm getting ready to launch an alpha version of our store, and we really want to have a multi-vendor or marketplace-type functionality (are those two synonymous?). I was looking at reactioncommerce/reaction#357 and was just curious about wen these final features will be implemented. Do you have a rough estimate?

Actually, I think that I may have answered my own question --
v0.14.0
Due by May 11, 2016 Last updated 4 days ago
(WOOT!)
 so does that mean the target for multi-vendor functionality is May 11??

@Aesop7 underneath we’re already supporting marketplace (0.12 - multiple shops, single app). I’d like to see at least the ability to switch shops from the nav be part of the 0.14 release. I’m pretty sure we added support for this in the Products publication as well already, so you could in theory just add a nav element right now to switch shops, and run multiple shops ala google.com/express. so this is the basic functionality we’re shooting for. I’m not sure that a multiple-owner / seller dashboard is on immediate timeline though
My gut says #800 is likely to get pushed a bit more, or implemented in a very basic way.

@ScyDev you might want to consider modifying/replacing reactioncommerce:reaction-email-templates might be easiest

Meteor includes a local copy of Mongo and the actual file is stored locally (for development)
You can connect to the db always at one port higher than where you are running Meteor
so for the default development you can connect to the db at 3001
You can access the db via meteor mongo or use a utility like Robomongo to look at your data
