Hello all. I read in the docs that the Inventory plugin is optional. How would one disable it?

@owenhoskins the CLI is going to make that possible with a command, but that command doesn’t exist yet. For a quick fix, you can temporarily comment out the contents of client/index.js, server/index.js and registry.js in the inventory plugin.

Great, thanks!
Just FYI, all those server errors I was seeing the other day were solved with a Meteor update to 1.4.1 (also reaction to current dev)
I am playing with Kadira performance monitor and I have a question maybe you know the answer to: are the Active Subs a sum of all connected users, e.g. if 5 users connect to the same subs would I have more Active Subs then one user?

No, I think that is likely total subscriptions x total users
I think you want “Total Sessions” on the main dashboard page
Their docs kind of suck
a dedicated page to show you the same text that shows in the popover in the dashboard
plus a picture of the same thing
And I’m not sure how you’d ever have a non-whole number. Apparently they’re averaging in that chart (whatever that means in that context)

Alright thanks for the tip. I am noticing that my app hangs with Tier 2 composeio when the Active Subs hits about 80. Must be related to the DB power because if I scale up the deployment the app doesn't flinch. Working on finding the sweet spot for the SubsManager cache limit and expiry. (I am doing a bunch of additional sub caching in addition to the reaction core subs.)

@jshimko: I am also looking into Fast Render, do you know with Reaction's router config if its plug and play by adding the package?

Yeah seeing that, from what I can tell there isn't a subscriptions registration defined in the Reaction Router

We don’t really have many (any?) route-based subscriptions, so the router configs may be irrelevant in this case.

our subs are either global or template level
but it may be worth considering some other options for initial page load on the home page

Yeah, I've been trying to find a way to show a simple loading indicator as early as possible but haven't had much luck

Possible that meteor npm install isn’t getting run on Heroku? I’ve seen that exact error when dependencies were missing.
(I admittedly know almost nothing about Heroku and even less about deploying Meteor apps on Heroku. I deploy all of my own stuff, so I’ve never really been their target customer)
