Hi all, should I use the public or private Stripe key for reaction's stripe package?
Aesop7
@Aesop7
Feb 07 2017 01:52
the documentation doesn't really cover that
And i've tried updating the key through the GUI, but both public and private seem to get a credentials error --- does the server need to be rebooted after a change??

AFAIK there is no public or private key. Just the API key.

I'm fairly certain it's the secret key, but for some reason it's still not connecting

I'm trying to backup my db which is internal to reaction. The command docker exec my_container mongodump -d reaction -out /Users/...outputs what look to be the right writes and dumps but I can't seem to locate the dumped files. They're not in the directory specified by -out

OMG
for what collection - inventory? What happens if I disable a subscription to her? Because it creates a huge amount of subscriptions and it slows down page loading.
I had more than 5000 subscriptions. :-1:

@dshitik ony admin/owner user has those subscriptions, no other users. The inventory is only updated server side, I’m not even sure if there is a need for a client sub at all at this point -> I think we need to review that, we have an issue for this: #1370 and ideas, feedback, PR there would be good.

Hi everybody, I think I'm probably being a bit stupid, but how do I access the dashboard / admin panel for reaction? I've just set up a local version. The documentation says click a blue icon in the top right hand side but there isn't one.

are you logged in as an admin?
Ben Seward
@BenSeward
Feb 07 2017 21:11
not that I'm aware of no.
tdmoneybanks
@tdmoneybanks
Feb 07 2017 21:11
you have to log in first
look in the terminal you launched reaction in
it should have admin credentials there
use those to log into the application
and youll be able to see the admin tools
Ben Seward
@BenSeward
Feb 07 2017 21:11
yeah, I have a username and password but how do I log in?
tdmoneybanks
@tdmoneybanks
Feb 07 2017 21:12
in the upper right of navbar
there is a dropdown for login
just enter the correct info there and it will log you in

The documentation for Reaction looks pretty good. I'm looking at moving our company over to something other than Magento. I can't go through developing another Magento site.

@BenSeward i think youll find that while reaction is not as mature, the code is written in a very maintainable and extendable way and is a joy to work with
Ben Seward
@BenSeward
Feb 07 2017 21:18
Yeah I'm about to go take a quick look through the codebase to see how it all works. Even if I do need to extend I won't hate myself doing it heh.
It looks awesome though, I love the uI
