was there any effort to use fast render for this project. it seems that fast render is able to Render you app even before the DDP connection is live

FYI. we do use fast-render, it’s part of flow-router, and also Subs-manager, but it’s our plan to go to a react first model, so that will eventually go away and be replaced with react-router (and ssr). as Meteor moves to a more modular build, we won’t need to include all the packages that we need distributed enabled by default. On demand loading is coming.. (when, who knows).. We’re also architecting a content/catalog layer (on the roadmap) that will seperate the admin / merchandising tooling with a catalog being accessible from a faster/cached layer. We’ve got a sprint coming up to focus on just perfomance issues.. i.e.: subscription refinment (a lot is being published now that doesn’t need to be), job cleanup, etc. Anyone with performance suggestions, ideas, now would be a good time to create an issue on the project...

I’d stay with 1.4.2.3 for now, we’re bundling up 0.19 today, and will test 1.4.2.7 with that (previous releases had problems loading modules)
@bnordvik see https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/reaction-docs/master/reaction-import ( but there are lots of ways… collections, methods, etc )

@bnordvik if you’re really looking for an endpoint, look at https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/reaction-docs/master/reaction-products and DDP
