Hi, I have an issue with i18n strings not appearing in a fresh install of reaction commerce on Heroku. Its in the admin dashboard for taxGrid & Flat rate shipping. It is as if the entries done exist, so its just displaying the identifier string instead. i.e. Im seeing "admin.shippingGrid.name" instead of "Name". Does anyone have any idea about this?

Where did you change it?
Or did you change something at all?

Nothing is changed, it is a fresh fork of the master branch uploaded to heroku so that I can test it.
The strings work running locally, but not in heroku. But only in those 2 places that I can see

Sorry I have no idea.
On the reactioncommerce website is also a guideline for heroku, but I don't think it'd make a difference.

You could look in the source or html where the value get changed and whats diffrent to the other cases.

Or to your local deployment

I have only just downloaded the codebase to see if it is suitable for my next project, im not sure where to go looking for anything to change. There is no difference in the code locally to heroku. The html has the strings i mentioned. Its a little frustrating. I appriciate your help by the way, im just not sure what to do next. I dont really want to go hacking about with the code to get a string to display.

@JonasKopka are you a developer on the Reaction Commerce team?
I have just tried some of the simplest tasks for adding a new product and they just dont work. It has me thinking my local install might not be working either, but I have followed the guides to the letter.
I am not sure what to do as I dont want to waste any time on a product that has basic functionlity missing, but if my install is borked then I want to give it a fair chance.

I must have a borked install. I'm going to delete it out and have another go
Thank you very much for replying, it's appreciated

You have to decide if you want to use I personally think it is a pretty good base as a Shop since you dont have to programm everything and it is better than things like weebly since you have all the source code and can programm it yourself.
No problem :)

Has anyone had issues with i18n not working when using the container on docker hub?
Only certain templates it seems like

Eg. on a fresh install when adding an item to the cart the item added popup displays "productDetail.addedToCart"

@nbaldwin Yes, there is a problem with the shopId not getting loaded in time. It’s fixed in the development branch and should be merged into master soon. In the meantime you can run Meteor.call("i18n/flushTranslations”) to get your install working
