@bebob1 also interested in bulk import products via xml and export orders and clients via xml. Commerce platform just useless without any integration!

@mmice Bulk importing from files is possible. Brent helped me through it: https://forums.reactioncommerce.com/t/how-to-do-a-automatic-json-import-sync/388/14
But the problem is that this is kind of a one time import. If you do it a second time from the same file but with new values (like when a price changed or similar) the import will not work any more because of a duplicate ID. What we need is a sync method.
maybe something like this already exists, but I havn't found it yet

@bebob1 yep, i'm talking about sync method. By CommerceML standarts in my case..

@akash-saxena150 to your question about how to integrate React with Reaction…. we currently have parts of Reaction being rendered with React right now.

And there is on-going work to go full React here reactioncommerce/reaction#2040

@vipul08 Sure. What am I helping with?

@vipul08
May 22 2017 10:50
@zenweasel I am executing reaction test and getting error. If you can see above
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 10:52
Are you executing it from the root of the directory?
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:01
Yes
I have also done reaction reset

It looks like your system is evaluating the setting of an environment variable as a command
When we do SERVER_TEST_REPORTER="dot" meteor test --once --full-app --headless --driver-package dispatch:mocha that first part is valid syntax for setting an environment variable for the duration of that command
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:04
Yeah.. so is it I need to set the environment variable
I am running in Windows
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:05
@vipul08 are u on windows?
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:05
@hrath2015 yes
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:06
try gitbash
it kind of simulates unix like command
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:07
I am running from cmder
I think it is equivalent to gitbash
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:07
OK
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:07
it doesn’t appear that it is though
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:08
@zenweasel didn't get u
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:09
I don’t think it’s equivalent because it seems like it’s choking on valid syntax
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:09
Ok... I'll try with git bash
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:09
if you wanted to work around it you could try export SERVER_TEST_REPORTER=“dot"
and then meteor test --once --full-app --headless --driver-package dispatch:mocha
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:10
Okay
Or gitbash will also work?
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:10
if you leave off the SERVER_TEST_REPORTER=“dot” it’s not the biggest deal in the work, it will just use the “spec” reporter
I believe that’s what most people are using. Is that what you use @hrath2015 ?
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:11
Okay
I can recall that I have also executed meteor test
But I got 0 test case executed
It means it didn't pick the test cases
File
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:13
reaction test is just executing this line SERVER_TEST_REPORTER="dot" meteor test --once --full-app --headless --driver-package dispatch:mocha
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:14
Yess
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:15
And that works, it’s working for me here.
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:15
Meteor test?
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:15
Yes
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:16
Let me execute it from my root directory and see if it is working or not
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:19
@zenweasel for executing tests I switch to linux.. I tried doing it on windows once but could not make it work so made a switch
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 11:20
Hmmm, that’s not good news
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:20
May be give it another try again
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 11:35
@zenweasel @hrath2015 I will give it that try and will let u know 😀

@vipul08 issue is with permissions. run the command meteor test --once --full-app --headless --driver-package dispatch:mocha in a shell which is run as admin.
the error which u saw will be gone. Not sure for how smooth will be the run..
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 11:51
I think I am able to run it.. but looks like all 138 tests failed.
I have to step out .. will see what is going on once back.
sorry I misread the report. Here is outcome...

May 22 2017 11:57
so it looks like test works .
Brent Hoover
@zenweasel
May 22 2017 12:14
I don’t know why you would get 138 tests failing though
Daniel Honig
@dhonig
May 22 2017 12:32
@vipul08 you might try CYGwin
or the cmmder tool that I pointed you to earlier
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 12:51
@dhonig I got the error from cmmder itself
@hrath2015 did you execute it from root directory of reaction
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 13:20
yes
vipul08
@vipul08
May 22 2017 18:32
I am able to execute the test case
only 107 test case executed
but all are having error while execution
My question is how can run only a specific test case. As @zenweasel suggested use grep option
I googled a bit and found I should use : MOCHA_GREP="WishList" meteor test --driver-package dispatch:mocha
but I am getting error MOCHA_GREP is not recognized as internal or external command
hrath2015
@hrath2015
May 22 2017 19:47
@vipul08 I have logged an issue for inconsistent test behavior. #2326
Also I am able to run only 2 tests by using env variable set MOCHA_GREP=Account Search results
then firing the command meteor test --once --full-app --headless --driver-package dispatch:mocha
it executes only 2 tests for me.
