So you don’t want to do that. Try uninstalling and reinstalling from the top just using user access

when I run 'reaction init', this error 'Oops! You don't have Meteor installed yet!' comes out... but, I already installed Meteor.
after that error, the same error occurs when I removing and reinstalling Meteor.

After install Meteor, the last sentence says 'command not found'

what happens when you just do meteor from the command line?
and what are the results of doing reaction -v?
silverjeong
@silverjeong
Jun 12 2017 05:42

when I just do 'meteor' again,
run: You're not in a Meteor project directory.

To create a new Meteor project:
meteor create <project name>
For example:
meteor create myapp

Here comes this.

sorry for interrupting, but I'm close to finally get my own template into reaction. I followd the documantation word by word, even took the same code: https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/reaction-docs/master/plugin-customizing-templates-4# My custom plugin get's loaded, but as soon, as I do the "import "./defaults";" in my index.js (client directory) I get a white screen and no indication of what went wrong. My reaction runs in debug mode, but the console doesnt show anything. Where can I look else to see what the problem could be?

Have you compared what you have with what’s in the example-plugin repo?

Hi, is it possible to extend functionalities? Example: add a Tag system to products
Daniel Honig
@dhonig
Jun 12 2017 14:14
@tapmarques_twitter what do you mean exactly
Tags are used already for categorization
Tiago Marques
@tapmarques_twitter
Jun 12 2017 14:16
Ok, I didn't know that. But if I want to create two types of tag, like category and subcategory, for example, am I able to do this kind of modifications?
Daniel Honig
@dhonig
Jun 12 2017 14:16
yes
@tapmarques_twitter you will want to read the section about Navigational tags in the docs
and then perhaps have a play with them in a live instance of reaction
Key word = "Hashtag Taxonomy"

Jun 12 2017 14:18
Thank you, I will do that. One more question, is it possible to create a system with multiple vendors at one app?
Daniel Honig
@dhonig
Jun 12 2017 14:18
In the docs the navigational example is
Shirts->Cotton
@tapmarques_twitter absolutely, though alot of work is in flux on that exact use case. Checkout the marketplace channel to get more specific information about the exact functionalities you need https://gitter.im/reactioncommerce/marketplace

The vendors would have to create accounts and it would need some special form to handle payments
Thank you very much . You have a very cool framework and this chat is really helpful. Great job to all of you!

Hi, resetting reaction clears all the products and other settings, is there a way to do it without deleting thr products? My reason to reset is adding translations or updating some translations

@btargac if your goal to reload your custom definitions in registry.js

What does the "reaction-checkout" value on the user object do? It was enabled for one of my users and causing them to not be able to access the cart at all

I would just put a blog on a subdomain of your shop url. Maybe just install wordpress on your subdomain and reaction on the primary domain. @carly_seitz_twitter
Or create a separate blog page/template in reaction as a plugin and then use a headless CMS of some sort like buttercms or another.
