Where in the docker image do you mount in custom themes and plugins? I don't see the 'imports' direcotory anywhere obvious

You don't. You put your plugin in the imports directory of your development instance and then create a custom Docker build.
You don't ever edit docker builds. You create new ones.

you can mount volumes and store dependencies there though @joshuacox

Yeah, but you can't mount a plugin in a built app.

@jshimko @dhonig right but where does the COPY statement go?
COPY myplugin /opt/reaction/imports <--- there is no imports directory here, this is my question, where is the imports directory?
or where is the root of reaction inside the docker image to put it another way?

hi friends, why the oauth redirect url for facebook and google are wrong? my domain in https://hello.domain.com whereas the oauth redirect url is http://domain.com/... This is causing trouble in setting up the facebook and google sign in feature.
Anybody got success with enabling google / facebook signin feature?

FROM reactioncommerce/reaction:v1.4.1

COPY mytheme /opt/reaction/imports/plugins/custom/mytheme
COPY myplugin /opt/reaction/imports/plugins/custom/myplugin <-- as a more complete example of extending the official image, am I crazy trying to do it that way?

sounds like I am crazy -- https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/reaction-docs/master/installation reaction build mycustom <-- is the only supported way of making your own from the looks of it. Sorry noob here just testing the waters, I'm used to extending official images

Fixed.. The environment variable ROOT_URL= was set to http://domain.com and so the error. Changed the ROOT_URL and that fixed the issue.

@joshuacox you have to add it to the imports directory that you can see in your development environment (the project you get from the init command). You don't ADD or COPY it.
Build your plugin in that development environment and run docker build when you're done. That's it. No custom Docker stuff required
