Hey RC, does PayPal Payflow work? I signed up for it and they gave me a API username, password and signature but RC's Payment settings for PayPal Payflow ask for a API ClientID and Secret? I've tried combinations in sandbox mode but I keep getting:

Reaction: Response Status : 401
'{"error":"invalid_client","error_description":"Client Authentication failed"}'
...node_modules/fibers/future.js:449:15

Do we need SSL for sandbox payments to go through too?

it sounds like the credentials you have are for Paypal express?

Hi guys. my first post so hope I'm in the right location.
I am running 1.4.1 pretty much out of the box and product descriptions do not retain formatting applied to the text in the product admin window. As i cant find anything on the forums for product description format or text formatting or on google (lots of stuff about Amazon though). I have tried using Tags but no game ? Im not a developer I'm an infrastructure guy but just wondering if i have missed some thing obvious. Im using joshuacox/reactiondev for my dev docker images, any ideas ? may be a missing module ?

so if you are doing a local build, pull a fresh master
which includes the missing "react-addons-shallow-compare” that @joshuacox was probably adding to his build
Daniel Honig
@dhonig

that was just merged yesterday I think

yeah, but into a release branch, just merged to master 40 mins ago or so
v2.1.3 is still the most recent ta

Looks like latest would be ok here too

During plugin development this is what I am using to run the tests SERVER_TEST_REPORTER="dot" meteor test --full-app --driver-package dispatch:mocha
But I never took the time to figure out how to isolate a single test
There has to be a way

Reaction 1.4.2 is out! reactioncommerce/reaction#2852
  • adds react-addons-shallow-compare dependency
  • adds stripe api key patch
  • updates to Meteor 1.5.2
  • removes npm-shrinkwrap
@dhonig Have you tried using mocha's .only syntax? https://mochajs.org/#exclusive-tests

thats what I am looking for
thanks @machikoyasuda I think I saw that once. Been a few months since I've been developing plugins

@machikoyasuda thats close
but what I want to say is, I am working on the tests in this file, so run the tests only in this file
So a way to specify that on the command line

@aaronjudd wait a second, why am I being associated with the "react-addons-shallow-compare" stuff? :) I did end up installing it with npm, but did that come through on one of my repos?

@dhonig I believe you may be able to use Mocha’s GREP syntax at the command line. But typically I just wrap all the tests I want to group together in a describe block that I can enable/disable using skip/only

official docs on mocha's grep fgrep will do a simple string as well

yeah, it just assumes you have a naming convention that will work
