Hey Gang, How does one export their mongoDB when still in local dev mode?
I tried mongodump --host localhost:3000 -d meteor -o fauxwood-cbc-mongodb.json but am getting Failed: error connecting to db server: no reachable servers

3001 is the port you want
Mongo always runs on http port +1

I reinstalled reaction from scratch
Version 1.6.1 I think. The UI is extremely slow (2015 MacBook pro Chrome / Firefox Quantum and Safari). Is it same for all?

I’m not seeing that, no
Try it with this and see if you see the same thing: https://swag.getreaction.io/

The issue is not witht he store, but rather admin dashboard
Even in local, it’s smooth, but when using admin dashboard (especially toggling on/off things like currencies) the UI becomes very unresponsive

the toggles in the localization panel do seem a little sluggish but other than that I don’t really see anything

@redgenie I remember vaguely of having such error in another project. Googling it shows that the Buffer object is not available client-side per default. Still, the Buffer npm package seems to get bundled as a dependency. What does npm list |grep -i buffer give you?

@childproof sorry about the delay, did you try removing the directory entirely and recreating yourself? Try this:
rm -Rf ~/.reaction && mkdir ~/.reaction && echo test > ~/.reaction/test && cat ~/.reaction/test && rm ~/.reaction/test
what sort of linux are you on? The circleCI builds are done on trusty I believe and that is not a bad starting spot.

I can't believe I'm stumped on this, but whenever I add a product directly to the products database it shows with "Sold Out" in the gridview, I set the property to false in the product object but I still get the sold out thing, probably something to do with inventory management, but I don't know where to start, can someone give me a hand?
