@marvinkome What issues are you running into?

It was MongoDB replica set not ready in time.
I've fixed it though. The issue was that after changing the db port, it didn't reflect in rs.conf(). So i had to update it

There's the docs at docs.reactioncommerce.com, but we're working on a comprehensive Reaction Commerce video tutorial series at out:grow... Stay tuned :)

Awesome, the docs for the swag shop tutorial is kind of not in flow
So it's hard to understand

Agreed, but there's only so much you can do in a written form
Which is why a video tutorial makes a lot of sense

I agree
Is there a repo for the swag shop tutorial? for v2.0

Not as far as I know
But the Next.js starter-kit should be good in showing you the way

One more thing, is it possible to create a sellers admin system? where people can signup to upload products

Actually this exists, but isn't officially maintained so you'll probably have to do a bit of work to get it to work. It was referred to as the "marketplace" feature until it lost official support. Also, there's no GraphQL API for these functionalities, so that will need to be custom-implemented.

Hello,
I am having some trouble trying to replace or extend components. Writing my own components and replacing something for testing purposes seems to have no effect.
Do I have to Import my replacement or extension components into the componentsContext, in order to see a result?

@machon Are you trying to do that in the Next.js starter-kit?

@loan-laux Yes I am working with the 2.0 Next.js starter-kit. I have tried writing a custom component in the custom directory of the starter kit, as well in the client/components folder of my own plugin.

@loan-laux I am following the documentation here: https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/components-api

This code is in my custom plugin in client/components/CustomNavBar.js
To test, how I can replace a component

import React from "react"
import { replaceComponent } from "@reactioncommerce/reaction-components";

const CustomNavbar = (props) => (
  <nav>custom navbar.....</nav>
);

replaceComponent("NavBar", CustomNavbar);

export default CustomNavbar

@elhil awesome hint! Changed it to a class based component with constructor and it worked. Thanks a lot!
