hi everyone, I would like to ask on how to create custom components base on this docs https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/1.16.0/register-component#register-a-new-react-component . May I know what directory should I add it? Thank you

Is the * Customizing the Product Detail Page outdated for the 2.0 release candidate?

The page indicates: “The code in almost all the components is written in such a way that if a render function is passes in the props , that function will be run instead of the default one.”

However, when I attempt to pass a render function in the props as described, the new function does not show and the original component still shows.

Hi, When developing the storefront starterkit, is it possible to remove orgin on GitHub/reaction-platform/reaction-next-starterkit and add it to a private rep.? Is that the best way to go about it?

@antecrypto Method 2 described here should be what you are looking for: https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/swag-shop-2

Hi @loan-laux I read your answer on how to create custom plugin https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51501739/how-to-rewrite-footer-in-the-custom-plugin-reaction-commerce , I follow it and successfully created the component. How can I show it to the homepage? Where should I add the component? Thanks

Did any have luck getting the starterkit transpiled by babel properly to work in IE11 ?

@antecrypto I have one remote (“origin”) pointing to a private repo and another (“upstream”) pointing to the official repo - that way it’s easy to merge in new changes

@progranime That's an old answer on the Meteor storefront, which is now deprecated. You should use the Next.js starter-kit instead.

@hammannja @elamurugan Thank you for your responses. I was actually following "method 2" on that link.

What I did was "Clone" reaction-next-starterkit on my local machine, and then put it in my Private Github Rep. folder. I removed orgin, then added orgin of private repo.

What I'm confused about is I still have a container from the original reaction-next-starterkit in my reaction-platform folder. Do I remove this? and run the new Private GitHub Folder? Will it still connect to the other reaction-files from reaction-platform if it's located in my Private Github folder?

Would it make sense to just develop using the original reaction-next-starterkit in reaction-platform, remove it's orgin and setup the new orgin to my Private Github repo?

@antecrypto yes
you may want to change config.mk to point to your repo as well
in case you ever run make init again

Anybody know of any plugins for https://www.printful.com/docs/ , specifically orders/shipping? I've seen a community developed shipstation plugin that would work but not printful exactly

The API seems to be well documented. Just listen for Reaction Hooks/appEvents(https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/appevent-hooks#emit-an-app-event) and use node-fetch to make calls to their API.
