@acreilly this is another way of doing it in Nextjs https://github.com/zeit/next.js/issues/512#issuecomment-337040792

@trojanh This ist using postcss. As the starterkit is already using two non-global scoped styling soltutions, mostly MUIs withStyles and a bit of styled-components, I'd recommend against bringing Set annother in the game, or have global styling at all where it ist not necessary.

ok sure @janus-reith , adding third styling solution will make it more complex to manage future css cutomizations
@janus-reith do we still have docs for older reaction version somewhere archived ? like for 1.6 or 1.5 maybe?

Hello everyone, I'm currently following the docs to install the Reaction platform. When I run the make command, everything goes well until I get an error related to reaction-next-starterkit => make: * [build-reaction-next-starterkit] Error 1
Any idea what I can do to solve this?

Apr 17 12:38
ok dont use make @Tagada85 .. please goto folder reaction-next-starterkit
and put this command
docker-compose up
this will start individually that starterkit container
then type this command docker-compose logs -f

Apr 17 12:42
So, I clone the reaction-platform repository and move directly to reaction-next-starterkit to run docker-compose up ?
Chandran
@chandrantwins
Apr 17 12:43
so basically our reaction-platform has 3 subprojects
reaction-hydra, reaction, reaction-next-starterkit
we can start all at once .using command "make start"
in case if it fails.. we can start individually each subproject using
docker-compose up -d
@Tagada85 yes you can directly goto that directly and run that command
Damien Cosset
@Tagada85
Apr 17 12:45
I see. May I ask what is the purpose of each sub-projects ?

@Tagada85 Reaction Commerce works as a micro-service architecture. Each brick is deployed indepently yet relies on the others. This enables more flexibility when scaling and deploying updates, among other things.

@Tagada85
  • reaction is the back-end codebase. It exposes the GraphQL API and the administration panel.
  • reaction-next-starterkit is a starter kit that shows developers how to interact with the GraphQL API using Next.js and React. Can be replaced by anything that can talk to a GraphQL endpoint.
  • reaction-hydra is a specifically configured version of Hydra, an OAuth server. It takes care of generating and keeping track of authentication tokens.
For any questions just let me know. Also, I speak French. :)

Regarding my question on gitter published on: Apr 12 14:06 in this channel
I have managed to establish stripe redirect url to work. Basically with RC11 this url is no longer relevant that is described in documentation:
https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/next/merchant-shop-setup

This url should now be:
https://<yourdomain>/operator/shop-settings/stripe/connect/authorize

I also changed file: /reaction/imports/plugins/included/marketplace/register.js
// Redirect for Stripe Connect Sign-In
{
route: "/stripe/connect/authorize",
template: "stripeConnectAuthorize",
provides: ["marketplaceMerchantSettings"]
},

// provides parameter is added

But for showing right connected status in Admin UI this needs to be fixed/changed as well:
reactioncommerce/reaction#4989

Hello, are there anyone playing with the market place option?
I am having various difficulties in my test scenario. So far I manage to add a couple shops, products (inventory issues here), plug Stripe connect, and I still haven't completed a purchase pipe yet (2 issues: currency and shipping options).
I first tried on 2.0, then switched to dockerhub's image reaction:latest
I have no clue if I set up wrong. Is there light at the end?

Hey again! turns out many of my issues were from my browser cache. As I tried several version, it was all mixed up. - facepalm -
Now I have successfully completed a purchase pipe on the primary shop ! wooohoo
Only problems remaining are viewing and purchasing products from secondary shops. I cannot add to cart due to "This product variant does not have a price for EUR [invalid-param]" I am sure, after that I will have problems due to missing shipping options. I feel there is something wrong in the secondary shop config/object.

anyone have any advice on extending the ImageInfo schema? I’m trying to add some metadata to the media of a product or variant, but I can’t seem to do this without changing a lot of core code, namely all the different places that media items are transformed by hand rather than using the xform functions 🤔 is there another plugin I can use as a loose template for adding fields to a schema that’s often denormalized?
