@rondlite
port 4000 is pointed to storefront. So I am trying to run storefront url http://prntscr.com/uitinj
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
@mukesh311989 Do you use a reverse proxy in front of RC or are you trying to serve HTTPS content with just Reaction?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
yes
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Yes to what? Which one is it?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
I have use reverse proxy
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Ah alright, great then. So your RC storefront is running on port 4000, and you configure your reverse proxy to accept HTTPS traffic on 443 and pass it to RC on port 4000. And what are you getting?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
page is not loading at all
docker stop running port 4000
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
What do you mean? Did the container stop?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
it is showing only port of hydra
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
What do you mean?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
again now I have add http in environment file. Docker is showing all the port and also url is running with port http://danzflo.com:4000
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
I’m sorry, I don’t want to be mean but I’m having a hard time understanding you. Language barrier probably… But if your storefront container serves the web pages on port 4000, then your problem is with your reverse proxy configuration. Probably nothing to do with Reaction.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
I set reverse proxy is just to run url without port
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Alright. Your storefront is working fine on port 4000, so all you need is to figure out the reverse proxy config. This will depend on what you’re using. Nginx?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
yes Nginix
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Most importantly, when you try to visit https://danzflo.com, are you getting an error? What’s happening exactly?
Ahem… it seems to work fine on my end at least.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
storefront page is not loading
can you please try with this url http://danzflo.com:4000 and fill the registration form of storefront
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
But wait, you’re trying to serve the storefront on the HTTPS URL, right?
Doesn’t matter if the port 4000 one doesn’t work. Actually it shouldn’t even be browsable.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
when I set https url in environment file then docker won't show port 4000 running.
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
What environment variable is that? CANONICAL_URL?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
CANONICAL_URL=https://danzflo.com:4000
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Why would you keep port 4000?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
ok I will remove port 4000 and then test

what about other url. Do I need to keep port with other url?
EXTERNAL_GRAPHQL_URL=https://danzflo.com:3000/graphql
INTERNAL_GRAPHQL_URL=https://danzflo.com:3000/graphql

OAUTH2_ADMIN_URL=https://danzflo.com:4445
OAUTH2_AUTH_URL=https://danzflo.com:4444/oauth2/auth

rondlite
@rondlite
those you dont want to expose only external graphql url..the rest use local network domain names as set by docker
and oauth_auth_url .. internal.. is internal
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
docker set localhost in the url. and I replace localhost by domain.
Do I need to remain localhost only for other url?
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
Getting this error
domain:4000/callback?error=invalid_request&error_description=The+request+is+missing+a+required+parameter%2C+includes+an+invalid+parameter+value%2C+includes+a+parameter+more+than+once%2C+or+is+otherwise+malformed&error_hint=Redirect+URL+is+using+an+insecure+protocol%2C+http+is+only+allowed+for+hosts+with+suffix+localhost%2C+for+example%3A+http%3A%2F%2Fmyapp.localhost%2F.&state=uBfbrAqpWIlVllvSLuzAdow8
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Well, you have your answer in the error message. The redirect URL needs to be HTTPS. In fact the domain needs to be the exact same that your customers will be using.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
when I make all url https then port 4000 doesn't run in docker
rondlite
@rondlite
you can not send https to port 4000
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
You don’t necessarily need to change all the URLs to HTTPS. Just the external ones. Your internal network URLs stay the same.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
yes I have removed port 4000 from https url then also
OAUTH2_PUBLIC_LOGOUT_URL=http://danzflo.com:4444/oauth2/sessions/logout
OAUTH2_HOST=danzflo.com
OAUTH2_IDP_PUBLIC_CHANGE_PASSWORD_URL=http://danzflo.com:4100/account/change-password?email=EMAIL&from=FROM
OAUTH2_IDP_HOST_URL=http://danzflo.com:4100
OAUTH2_TOKEN_URL=http://danzflo.com:4444/oauth2/token
these are the internal url right?
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
@mukesh311989 Sorry, I’m not an RTFM kind of guy, but please can you read this page of the docs? https://docs.reactioncommerce.com/docs/environment-variables I’m sure it will help you to understand the purpose of each variable way better than we could explain on Gitter.
mukesh311989
@mukesh311989
showing 502 bad gateway
rondlite
@rondlite
there is no https in your config so .. please read above page to get basic understanding of each url
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
Honestly @mukesh311989, there’s not much we can do without getting our hands in your setup. If you want, my company (out:grow) can go over your configuration and make everything nice for you. But obviously this will be paid. Let me know if you’re interested.
Mian Muhammad
@mian-muhammad
is some getting blank screen for identity on port 4100?
Loan Laux
@loan-laux
@mian-muhammad Do you have any error in the logs? Both in the browser console and in your reaction-identity container?
rondlite
@rondlite
@mukesh311989 page stops loading is not really an error, you can not expect us to goto your site and dig up the errors ourself.. please provide some more information

@funkoff
Hi, I do have a problem with example-storefront with developing in Docker. I cloned the project and did some changes but it does not reflects in docker container. Also when check the src files in the container I can't find any changes. What am I missing? Did anyone faced with the same issue?
Mian Muhammad
@mian-muhammad
Keeping the logic in place, has someone tried changing the look of example-storefront totally. Apologies I have very little familiarity with reactjs
GirishbSA
@GirishbSA

Hi all,
i am new to ReactionEcommerce, My Docker containers are running. And I have seen my whole setup is empty. I tried several options to load dummy data into my store. But none are working.

Any suggestions for this? Hope everyone faced this. and fixed somehow.
