    @reimertz
    I am taking the freedom of setting up a test suite similar to the one you use for holmes
    it seems like a great way of doing it without to much friction.

    @Haroenv
    sure, I like how it's done, especially when you wanna test DOM
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    or would you do it differently if you redid it today?
    ok, dope!
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    I spend days finding a test suite that allowed me to querySelect the generated DOM
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    and then, the swedish douche just comes and copy-paste it.
    what a shame. :D
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    well I clearly haven't figured out everything about it, that's why some of the tests are commented out
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    I saw that. I looked at https://github.com/remy/inliner
    he seems to have a very legit test suite as well
    and dope pre/post hooks
    kind of a pain though if I wanted to do a fork
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    that looks nice
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    very good if you have a CLI like lagom have.
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    ava is also clean to work with if it's just node
    then you could probably do the jsdom yourself, but I haven't tried that
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    I am soo happy to finally have a project where I use webpack to build everything
    it is so nice
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    it's first so scary though, I've only used it once before
    and I don't fully understand the config yet :p
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    I know, it's like grunt on steriods
    yeah, that Is why I loved gulp
    much cleaner flow
    then I hated how bloated the configs got
    then started to write npm scripts
    but then transitioned into webpack because npm configs got bloated as well. :D
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    I wasn't developing yet when Grunt was big. I did a bit gulp, but usually I preferred Jekyll and kept things simple. But then I didn't really depend on other things. Webpack is way cooler
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    I feel like the biggest js hipster
    always transitioning to the new cool

    hipster4life

    yeah, jekyll is almost always enough! just like js land more than python land
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    # :sunglasses: only use JS because it's :cool: now:sunglasses:
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    haha. :D
    soon we'll transition into elm only to later realize elm transpiles into js. :D
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    that's a real hashtag by the way, you can make it viral on twitter
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    doesn't work on twitter ;(
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    because there wasn't enough :cool: in the tweet
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    true that.
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    didn't know hashtags couldn't have emojis though, that's very sad
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    oh man
    did you see this:
    "👨‍❤️‍👨".replace(/👨/, "👩")
    try pasting that in the console
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv
    yeah and the .map on composed ones
    Piérre Reimertz
    @reimertz
    say whaaat?
    didn't know that one.
    Haroen Viaene
    @Haroenv

    Piérre Reimertz
