it goes from the "booted - check your dashboard" screen to completely black and back to the dashboard
i think it's the rpi1 which fucks it up
i could try on a beaglebone
but i need a microhdmi cable first :smile:

yeah, I think @craig-mulligan might have seen this on the RPI1, i dont think it has enough power to run electron :/

it may just be the case that electron binary is compiled for armv7, but the rpi1 is armv6, so perhaps rebuilding the binary could work, but not sure :/
Dominik Kukacka
@dominikkukacka
Mar 01 2016 10:58
that could be, in their issues there is a discussion to rename the builds to armv5-7

yup, I saw that, it will be helpful if the do that, even more so when armv8 boards are used more

in other news, how you like clip-together tiles?
@alexandrosm, of course, that's still with a clear faceplate. all of the cable routing would be invisible with an opaque faceplate. keeping it clear for now for simplicity.

with the cables, I think I need to get my hands on one to explain what I want, but the current setup gives it the potential to happen
so we're good

found a great solution to the USB cable slack, looking it up behind the devices.
this faceplate provide a good starting point for other faceplate configs.
the central aisle, slotted cable ducts, and slack management systems should be somewhat generalisable to other designs.
she's come a long way.
