    @raix
    The docs are a bit spares at the moment - I’m short on time this week - that said I’ll try to respond quickly if issues are encountered.

    I'll try to test general send function soon and give a feedback about it. But just in case, how do you retrieve user tokens from clients using lower level API functions Push.sendAPN and Push.sendGCM.
    Morten N.O. Nørgaard Henriksen
    @raix
    On the server theres a Push.appCollection - its a regular collection and it keeps track of the apps and makes sure to update tokens as they get invalidated.
    The idea is to attach apps to the user - this way / at some point it would be fairly easy to send a push message from one user to another
    The appCollection should be extendable with metadata - so one could do a server-side send with a query object instead of an app array.
    (query idea is future talk)

    I've just tried to test it like you described, but I encountered an issue that no token has been emitted and stored in appCollection while I'm running app on Android Device. Now I'm trying to debug where something is going wrong. What do you think?
    Morten N.O. Nørgaard Henriksen
    @raix
    Try Push.addListener(’token’, function(token) { console.log(’Token’, token); });
    or alert if not on logcat

    Would it be possible to setup a quick barebones repo with a working demo so we can test it out? Just having difficulties trying to get it working. No rush.
    Cheers

    @raix
    @mrsolo5k android is fixed in 2.0.2

    Hi all. After some changes and cleanup, merging @elvismercado and @richsilv's latest of meteor-cordova-notifications, iOS notifications are fully working.
    1 question that maybe dumb, for android. Why is badge api available only for iOS but not for Android? I'm not an android user myself but I see common android app icons do get badge counts. How would that be set? Cordova's PushPlugin doesn't document badges for android either.

    @swennemans
    Awesome man. Maybe you could update the github page, because I still thought it was only for android :)
    Richard Silverton
    @richsilv
    sorry for the radio silence on this, i've been working on other stuff. @fungilation do you have a fully working merge of these two branches then?
    Elvis Mercado
    @elvismercado
    Hello guys. Sorry for the absence. I've been busier than i thought. I see that @raix has made a very decent push package. Have there been any more thoughts about how you guys want to proceed with the packages.? As @raix said it would be good to have one package we could all maintain instead of two similar packages.
    Richard Silverton
    @richsilv
    yes, agreed. if raix's package does the job then i'm happy to redirect people towards it. i'll take a look today.
    Elvis Mercado
    @elvismercado
    ok understood.
    Renaldo Pierre-Louis
    @daltonrenaldo
    is there a demo app with @raix package?
    tud29723
    @tud29723
    I've searched extensively for one, but haven't come across anything. Anyone else have luck?
    Elvis Mercado
    @elvismercado
    I don’t think there is a demo as of yet. But raix’s package is very good. You should be able to create an empty project and add the package. You can send notifications then from the inspector console on your browser.
    tud29723
    @tud29723
    Elvis, I used the micro OS walkthrough available in the documentation, which was an enormous help: certificates, provisioning profiles, xCode are all in working order and talking. Additionally, Push.send() is working in both the meteor server shell and the browser-side console. Notifications get stored in my database, and the push triggers a console log output of it's ID. Still, I can't get anything in the viewport of the connected device no matter what I try or which device I use (definitely nothing wrong in the Developer account).
    ..maybe this is a question better suited to file an issue on the raix package?
    Elvis Mercado
    @elvismercado
    I will try to make a demo and put it on github later today.
    Elvis Mercado
    @elvismercado
    @tud29723 I have created a demo app using @raix’s push package. Find my demo here: https://github.com/elvismercado/meteor-raix-push-demo

    This'll be a huge help, thanks!
    Poliuk
    @Poliuk
    @fungilation ey! You said iOS notifications are working, is that already in the latest release?
    Poliuk
    @Poliuk
    I've been reading the hole gitter, I see there have been improvements in iOS support, but I still don't understand if you've integrated @raix code inside this package. I'm sorry I don't understand.

    @himadrighosh13
    @richsilv , I tried 'cordova-notifications-demo' as of now if user have two notification then the old one is replace by new notification. how can i make it for multiple notification?
    Gary Fung
    @fungilation
    @richsilv @Poliuk yes I have a merge of your and @elvismercado's fork with my own fixes and additions, I've tested it to be fully working on iOS 8 (and iPhone 6). I've converted package JS to CS, I can export back to JS for merging back into @richsilv's original package?
    Richard Silverton
    @richsilv
    i would rather keep it as JS if possible.
    just added you as a collaborator, @fungilation
    Gary Fung
    @fungilation
    thanks. Ya I'll at least export JS for maintaining history

    Richard Silverton
    @richsilv
    hi, @bchrobot
    this isn't something I'm actively working on at the moment as I'm too busy with other projects
    Benjamin Chrobot
    @bchrobot
    alright
    I am interested in contributing but am not very familiar with Cordova/Phonegap
    I've been looking around to find material to get up to speed on that (I last touched base with Meteor around 0.8) but there's a lot to sift through
    do you have any recommendations in that area to get a sense of the project?
    specifically how the build process for the dependencies goes
    thank you

    @andrerfneves
    Whats up peeps
    was wondering if you guys could tell me whats up with the ios side of this plugin? I found the discussion in the issues but was directed here for more info
    AaronDarr
    @AaronDarr
    are we able to use this for local notifications? or if not are there any plans to implement this?
    Linus Jakobsson
