When I run rcis simpleworld.xml command in terminal ....why robot is not moving , it is an static position. Pleae help me to sort out from this.

try to remove any *.ice in tmp, you will probably need to do it with sudo. It looks like ice files have been generated with root permissions somehow.

@GarvTambi You need to start keyboard component in other terminal after you started simpleworld.xml this make robot move using your keyboard

Thanks bro. Now it recognized but while running the test component it says "Error taking camera feed. Make sure Camerasimple is up and running" but my camerasimple and handGesture component is running parallely in other terminal. Why is that so ?

Hello,
I solved that previous error by setting maximum memory size in ice configuration. Now the test component is working fine and I can see that classes are detected in terminal but I can't see that camera window (the handGestureClient window) which put these bounding boxes on the hand and say which class it belongs to, but in handGesture and HandGestureClient terminal windows I can see the hand got recognized as a statement. So, What to do in order to make handGestureClient window camera to work ?

camerasimple and handgesture to access the components
I think .ice files like handgesture.ice etc are not being loaded in genericworker.

I am asking because i am installing robocomp now and i want to know if there is something i shouldnt install just to assure that the project work on python 3 once the project is done(l i uninstalled python 2 already).

Do you have anaconda Installed in your system? If so, you need to follow some steps given in guide before installing.

I have a question regarding the sign language recognition component. Currently for keypoint recognition uses only the tflite models from mediapipe, why is it not possible to use the mediapipe python library for keypoint extraction as it would make things a lot easier?

I am currently trying to install RoboComp But an error appears when executing this command

$ sudo make install

The error is:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'rich'

I tried to install 'rich' using

$ pip install rich

and what I get is that it's already installed

any solution?

If you are installing using the instructions given in the Github page,then this must be the most probable location,check it using grep and if not there then just install.Hope this works(and sorry for multiple screenshots)

I'd suggest you to look on how the robocomp's architecture works and checkout DSR tutorials, DSR is the latest architecture of robocomp and it'd be great if you could integrate your component to it.
