Hi there, Just installed grunt-build-control and was trying to get my first build to a separate branch of the same repo, however, I'm getting this error: Warning: fatal: You are on a branch yet to be born

@kerbs17
I had to rm my dist dir to clear this up. I think I had already done a git init there some time ago

@AugustNagro
hi! I'm deploying an angular webapp to github pages, but don't want the README.md and CNAME to be removed everytime. Here's what I've added to my gruntfile: buildcontrol: {
options: {
dir: 'dist',
commit: true,
push: true,
message: 'Built %sourceName% from commit %sourceCommit% on branch %sourceBranch%'
},
pages: {
options: {
remote: 'git@github.com:quickmath/bc.git',
branch: 'gh-pages'
}
}
}
any advice?

@kerbs17 sorry for the delayed response. I didn't have have notifications turned on. Glad you got it fixed
@AugustNagro what's your .gitignore like in dist/?

Hi, I'm trying to use buildControl to commit to a local branch (non-master) and push to Heroku master branch. I'm trying to use the option remoteBranch but it doesn't seem to be working - always pushes to branch names the same as the local commit.

I'm going to deprecate gitter.im as it doesn't notify me that there's a new message.
Please post your questions onto github https://github.com/robwierzbowski/grunt-build-control
@dccatl I made an issue for you robwierzbowski/grunt-build-control#70
