    anyway, i got around it by just changing the code in the browser

    i just went to "inspect element", found the "Convert tokens" button, and removed the disabled text from this html element <button id="deposit" type="submit" class="btn btn-primary ml-3 mt-3 mb-3" disabled="">Convert tokens</button>, then i clicked it and it Metamask popped up and allowed me to convert my USDT to rUSDT, and tx was successful

    hi all! is the token bridge working fine? I have just used it to convert USDT to rUSDT with Metamask, but apparently my USDT are still in my wallet. The trx got processed, at least i see the gas fee that was chargaged agains my account, but strange is that USDT are still in my wallet.
    is this normal?
    i have followed step by step the instruction from video by @Levinblox_twitter
    ( trying to use rUSDT on Sovryn app as LP )

    Trying to convert USDT, and was able to confirm a transfer by making sure I had both ETH and USDT available, but after the conversion went through it showed up as "null ETH" value and an $8 gas fee. Any time I try to set up a convert, my wallet (Liquality) shows the value as 0 ETH. I thought this was just a rounding error. How foolish. Any solutions to this?

    I attempted to use the tokenbridge yesterday to transfer USDT to rUSDT. It's been a little more than 24hrs. The USDT is gone from my MetaMask wallet along with the Eth for gas fees. When submitted, the 15 second confirmation wait time went on for more than a minute and ended in an error with a link to the transaction hash. Upon refresh the tokenbridge says "No transactions for active account found". Viewing the hash on Etherscan, and status was Pending so I decided to wait. Status has since changed to Success, but I still have no rUSDT. Is there a problem or do I just need to be a bit more patient?

    What is the fastest way to get rUSDT to Ethereum network?

    Like several before, tried to convert USDT to rUSDT from Eth mainnet to RSK Network. Successful transaction, wait 24 hours and then nothing. The USDT has been removed from my mainnet wallet but it never hit the RSK network. This is my first time using tokenbridge and I have no idea how to find the rUSDT. Can anyone offer assistance?

    @BuckoNz_twitter
    It appears people have been having issues with Token Bridge but I don't see a lot of assistance. I have just tried converting some rUSDT (RSK) to USDT (ETH). I had to wait the full 24 hours for the status to change from 'Pending' to 'Confirmed'. The balance of my rUSDT of my wallet on the RSK Mainnet has decreased by the amount, however no USDT has appeared in my wallet on the ETH Mainnet!? Where have my funds gone?

    @segdirbb1_twitter
    @BuckoNz_twitter I can say that while it took longer than 24 hours, my USDT to rUSDT went through. I've heard some others on the SOV TG page say they're having problems moving rUSDT back to USDT. I would give it a bit more time. I wasn't able to find anyone who would answer my questions except for (@)RSKsmart on twitter. They got back to me within a few hours and were willing to help. Best of luck to you. No one from this chatroom offered me any assistance so I wouldn't expect it from here.

    @segdirbb1_twitter you will get support in http://developers.rsk.co/slack
    please post your issue there
    (check that it's a common issue this days and it was explained, basically you need to wait a little longer)

    hi all - has anyone managed to use tokenbridge with a ledger? I am trying to convert rusdt to usdt but I am not getting any pop up message on the ledger to confirm the transaction
    ઽɱдгӄυȿ
    @samisin_twitter

    So - because ETH transactions are so damn expensive I believe the RSK Bridge is only for rich people, am I wrong?

    I am playing around and want to send 1000 USDT to use on Sovryn. So there are three fees: 0.2% of whatever tokens that are send, then there is the approve fee, and then there is another fee, which is the convert fee. So transferring 1000 USDT, with the current fees leaves me with less than 960 USDT. That's 4%.

    So in reality the "important details" regarding fees at the bottom of the page are just bollocks, considering the amount the user has to pay for the Ethereum fees. And no where can I see before hand that I have pay double fees to even do a conversion, first the approve, and then the convert. That's really bad UX and on top of things, stinks.

    Why should "normal" people use this?

    And why is the user not informed of these "double ETH" fees.... I thought, okay, that first fee is fine. But then... I have to pay 4 times more in fees to do the conversion. I understand this is not RSK's fault, but what is RSK's fault is not informing the users of the RSK bridge of this. Is this to create bad will or you don't care about the small time users?
    Alejandro Cavallero
    @alepc253
    @samisin_twitter double ETH fees? once you crossed to RSK, fees are far smaller than in ETH so this is a great opportunity to use DeFi tools avoiding the enormous fees in ETH (https://rskgasstation.info/)
    if you say that approve+convert is "double fees", then you ignore how most of the tools (DeFi specially) work
    ઽɱдгӄυȿ
    @samisin_twitter
    @alepc253 First I pad a fee (~$16) when I clicked "Approve". Then when I clicked "Convert" I had to pay an even higher fee (~$30) in ETH.
    I know fees are smaller once crossed to RSK - the issue is the "double fee" when approving and converting. I don't ignore anything. I'm pointing out a problem and that RSK bridge is not very informative of this, and will scare off people. Especially when they might think they only have to pay one fee when clicking "Approve", and then suddenly pay 3-4 times more to "Convert".
    ઽɱдгӄυȿ
    @samisin_twitter
    Or are you saying "Approve" and "Convert" are not two separate fees?
    I use Sovryn. Never had to pay for two transactions to swap, stake, or anything. So I don't understand the argument "ignore how most of the tools work".
    Alejandro Cavallero
    @alepc253
    @samisin_twitter when you approve, you are giving permission to the contract to expend on your behalf... sometimes both actions are wrapped in one transaction and you don't see it, but they are there
    anyway, your feedback as user is much valuable
    and that experience can be improved or better explained
    ઽɱдгӄυȿ
    @samisin_twitter
    @alepc253 Yeah, but there are still fees involved in both the approve process and the convert process. This is not obvious. And once again, I understand the main issue here are the extremely expensive issues on the Ethereum network, and that is not anything you can control, but to improve the user experience, to not create bad will, the page should properly inform the user that they first have to pay an ETH gas fee for the approve tx and then another one, much more expensive, for the convert tx. Currently, I can see this a big stopper for people who would like to use, for example, USDT on the RSK network. For sure, it's not an issue for whales sending transactions that are $10000 and over, but for the small time user it may come as a shock.
    Alejandro Cavallero
    @alepc253
    @samisin_twitter yes, agree, always is better to explain what's going on with the processes

    @alepc253, thanks for the suggestion. it seems that the transaction actually was blocked on ETH because I executed multiple contracts and one of them was not executed. yesterday, I unlocked the ETH contracts and today the rUSDT are in my wallet.

    can anyone help, I converted rusdt to usdt 48 hours ago but it doesn't show in my ethereum wallet I sent it to.

    ok i see there is issues with it and I need to wait longer, should probably update the page itself to warn of current experiencing issues otherwise I wouldn't have bothered
