As regards plagiarism, students, I'd suggest that you do not commit your code or scripts to github, because, with your github id (which is what gitter.im uses), anyone can find your github account and scan through your repos for possible solutions to tasks. I am guessing that it is safer to submit all results on the GCI platform. Happy to hear other ideas!

We request students to come forward or they will be reported directly to google if more are found.

hello @trunghieu2506. To begin with, make ample use of the resources (questions, issues and their solutions) on stackoverflow. Almost any issue you may encounter during a task (assuming you are doing a coding task) has a possible workaround or solution. For any issues specific to a task, you can always message the mentor overseeing the task. Since you have a basic understanding of Python, you should try to learn about the basic R syntax since it is somewhat similar to Python.
If there is some general question still, you can always post your doubts here so that we may be able to help you

Since GCI 19 - 2020 has officially come to an end today, I would like to thank all my @mentors for guiding me throughout my journey and making me fall in love with learning in every bit of it.. I'll just echo what @Rishi0812 said and say that I've really enjoyed the experience! Learning R as a new language has been really nice, and I've even been offered a summer internship as a result of one of the tasks I did. I'm happy regardless of the outcome, thanks to all of the R staff and mentors.
Even six months ago , I would have been utterly confused if I heard about competitions like Google Code-in. While I did know what open source was, the idea that thousands of high school students such as I would be able to contribute towards it in meaningful ways would have absolutely blown my mind. These two months have not only been a formal introduction for me towards open source but have also been a period of learning thanks to the mentors who took time out of their busy schedules (thanks @jcrodriguez1989 @vivekktiwari @benubah @vijaybarve @sunn-e @tdhock ) and the fellow students (Thanks @oliverfogelin @Rishi0812 @Pilipino @Azamlynny @programming-wizard ) who suggested various workarounds and tips with regards to the bugs and the tasks. This was my first encounter not only with R but with any statistical programming language at all and the community helped me immensely. I realize this comment is getting a bit long hence I would like to end it by reiterating my thanks to everyone involved with R in GCI. It is truly the community that is the most exciting part of open source and you guys made me realize it.
As GCI has come to an end 😞, I would like to thank all the mentors as well as the students who helped me in learning this new language R. I enjoyed learning R with you. For me, this was a short introduction to open source which you all made an exciting journey. I am glad to be a part of this community and contribute to R and open source. Once again, Thank You, I learned a lot during these two months.
