@omidfi Hey! Welcome here. I suggest having a look at the 30-minute introduction: http://doc.rust-lang.org/nightly/intro.html - it's quick and will give you a rough idea of what Rust feels like and why you might want to use it.

@filipegoncalves thanks. I went through it. It looks neat. So if I want to do something close to Iron, instead of learning C, I can get into rust?

@omidfi You can definitely get into Rust, but remember that officially Rust is still considered not ready for production environments (although the first release is close). You need to decide whether you want to live with that - code that compiles one day sometimes doesn't compile the next day with the latest nightly builds. So, I'd say it's an interesting learning experience to learn the language and code your project, but just keep this in mind.
Rust is pretty cool, I think you made an excellent choice :D
@omidfi Also, I suggest joining Rust's IRC channel, it's much more active than this gitter chat.
