@pybokeh - I’m able to duplicate the error, many thanks for the gist example, it’s very helpful. What’s happening is that the code to choose a color for the legend is choking on the NaNs in the data. This is a bug of course, should be easy enough to fix.

@pybokeh - For your rotated labels, you’ll need to do a couple of things. First, you can use the gutter parameter when you create the axes so the rotated labels aren’t ending-up off-canvas. Something along the lines of

axes = canvas.axes(label='Hard Drive Failures', xlabel="Vehicle Build Month", ylabel="Defect Rate (%)", gutter=100)

Second, you can use something along the lines of axes.x.label.style = {"baseline-shift":"-70px”} to shift the label down.
