Lucas Satabin
@satabin
finger crossed :D
testing is required :D
I'm pretty sure we can find other stupid mistakes :D
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
but for tonight I am done
let's make a break :)
talk to you tomorrow
Javier Cabrera
@Jacarte
get rest, lets talk tomorrrow
(small demo)
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
I reviewed the current ephemeral WASi draft, and I am happy to see they broke the circular dependency
now the memory is imported by the modules, not exported anymore
and the modularized a lot
it all looks good
if my current branch is working for you, I will implement it that way, to be reworked when ephemeral becomes the next snapshot

Hi, trying to run fibo.sc now using the command ./millw -i runtime.test.repl but getting below mentioned error in the screenshot.

@satabin
Hi @tareq97
Tareq Mohd Nazir
@tareq97
hi @satabin
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
yes I changed it because of a new requirement in the configuration library
if you use the default configuration, you now need to pass a Blocker as parameter
as you can see in the compiler error
on which branch are you?
Tareq Mohd Nazir
@tareq97
today i just pull the latest code in my local build, and pushed it in the fork.
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
so, master?
the fibo.sc file comes from where?
if it's an old file, then you'll need to update it
you can have a look at the fibo example in the examples module
or, if you already have a Blocker, just pass it to the Compiler constructor
you will need the blocker for all entities which use the configuration
@Jacarte I will merge my wasi branch today, after some last refactoring (the core naming is legacy from how WASI was first organized and doesn't make sense anymore)
Then I should update the website, revamp the documentation and include the CLI
then some release infrastructure
then a release
what a productive bank holiday
Tareq Mohd Nazir
@tareq97
@satabin took the file example doc it works fine thanks.
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
yep, I am breaking compatibility from time to time as long as I can afford it (pre 1.0)
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
@Jacarte I released 0.6.0-RC1 on Friday (or was it Satruday?) if you want to give it a try
because an error in my CI scripts it was not uploaded to maven -_-
but you can checkout the tag and test
Javier Cabrera
@Jacarte
Sorry, @satabin, I was feeling bad (flu) this weekend, I will try now, thanks!
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
no worries
you are the one depending on me doing stuffs, so you can take your time :D
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
@Jacarte I just remembered that the custom names section was enriched with local names, I will add it to Swam, maybe you are interested in this as well
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
I did it already, and forgot, nevermind :)
I will however start adding the annotation proposal, can be nice for building tools
Lucas Satabin
@satabin
@Jacarte just released wasi+spec 1.1+your timing change as 0.6.0-RC3
it's gettig big, so it might become the 1.0.0 in the end :)
you can download the CLI from the release page and the maven artefacts are on their way to maven central
