when using also sbt release plugin, it only publishes my jar, do I needs something else next to
SettingsHelper.makeDeploymentSettings(Universal, packageBin in Universal, "zip")
SettingsHelper.makeDeploymentSettings(UniversalDocs, packageBin in UniversalDocs, "zip")

@ahjohannessen I found a small line here: marcuslonnberg/sbt-docker@e350f18 I wanted to try if this speeds up performance in our build. Maybe this also fixes this strange behaviour. However this is just a guess :(

@schrepfler No, that should be enough. However I haven't used the publishing feature for some time. If you are using 1.0.0 or above try using the AutoPlugin for this:

enablePlugins(JavaServerAppPackaging, UniversalDeployPlugin)

@muuki88 hopefully. Also, I think I got it backwards when explaining what made that error go away with respect to updateOptions.value.withCachedResolution(...) - true makes the bug surface while false makes things work.
