I'm interested in integrating sbt-server into Scala IDE (or better to continue the work done in the already existing scala-ide/sbt-integration). sbt-remote-control has been refactored a lot in the last months and it doesn't seem to exist any documentation yet (beside from two more or less outdated/very abstract wiki pages on github). Has someone some hints about where to start in understanding the code?

Yeah, check out https://github.com/sbt/sbt-remote-control/blob/master/client/src/main/scala/sbt/client/SbtClient.scala. You can ask quesitons here or in the sbt/sbt-remote-control gitter channel
SO, regarding what was there before not a ton has changed
BUT a lot has changed in the underlying architecture (message protocol internals)
SO all the details are different, but general archtiecture/design remains similar

ok, thanks. I'm going to try to get a first implementation up and running (or fix the broken scala-ide/sbt-integration)
