Hiya all, I wonder if anyone has had this happen. When I prefix a command with tilde it used to reload on source change. Now it doesn't respond. The line advances to a blank line and just hangs until I press enter. This happens whether I enter ~eval "", ~compile or even ~gibberish. It just waits until I hit enter and then returns to the sbt prompt.

I have to ask ... did someone at Typesafe give the Travis people a decent amount of warning that this change was going to happen?

Looks like it's more accidental, JFrog switched off the old artifactoryonline repo before Travis had updated sbt-extras on their build infrastructure..

Can JFrog turn the old one back on again?

so that issue is now solved, however there is unfortunately an unrelated issue with sbt's repo now, https://twitter.com/scala_sbt/status/624245583373594625

Hate to say it, but it sounds like communication failure again :-(
The JFrog/Travis part anyhow.

@milessabin actually the root cause I think was sbt-extra using the old URL
since sbt 0.12.1 or something we've been using "repo.typesafe.com" to add a layer of indirection
at least on the Travis part
the repo.scala-sbt.org is on communication error on the sbt team

@milessabin Regarding TravisCI, we did have a PR in to them a WHILE ago, not sure how long. Regarding our proxy from JFrog going down, I think it was an unintended consequence, but we didn't expect it and it was definitely a communication issue.

I'm seeing cert failures on travis right now ... is this related?

Yeah. We're trying to re-issue our SSL certificate for the new repo.scala-sbt.org server

A blog post on scala-lang.org with a pointer to the workaround would be a good idea. Plus tweetage from @typesafe.
